hello all. a church i have been going to for a couple of weeks now is studying Luke. this week its Luke 11:14-28. in verse 26, it says, then it goes and takes 7 other spirits more wicked than itself, and they go in and live there. is this the reason people like myself commit the same sin over and over daily?

one of the biggest questions i see and hear from people is if they are truly saved if they cant stop committing the same sin over and over. does this verse show that we are not? that just because you removed 1 demon, doesnt mean you cant be filled with 7 more and be in worse shape than before?

Doesn't necessarily mean you have a demon, it can just mean you have a habit you need to break. (This can be personal, so I do not suggest you bring it up here, but instead speak with your pastor about it, that's what a lot of ministries in the Church are for.)
