Jesus' very own words, plainly spoken:

Luke 8:13
And the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear the word, receive it with joy; but these have no root, they believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away.

I have nothing more on this topic to say to you.

Good I have tired of the lie that Baptism saves!

Me too! ... Only one kind of baptism saves ...

"For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body
— whether Jews or Greeks, whether slaves or free —
and have all been made to drink into one Spirit."
(1 Corinthians 12:13)

baptism into the body of Christ - by the Holy Spirit
baptism into water -------------- by man
baptism with the Holy Spirit ---- by Jesus
baptism by fire ----------------- by Jesus
(There are even more baptisms than these, IMO)

Well if you mean being baptized into teh body of Christ which occurs the moment of salvation I agree.

If you still hold that water baptism is essential for salvation You are still preaching a salvation by works and that runs counter to the Scriptures.

Then I mixed you up with someone else and I apologize. Keeping up multiple conversations can cause a little confusion.

YOu have enough problems thinking that someone can lose their salvation without adding other problems to it.

FYI, there are many NT verses which warn us of this!
But, today's Laodicean churches who insist on believing
in grace-only, hyper-grace, easy-believism, etc.
... just simply insist on ignoring and rejecting them
... to their eternal shame and loss!

BACs have been called and chosen to believe the Scriptures
way ahead of "the doctrines of men", which tickle the ears
of those who want their cake and eat it too!
God says, "It ain't happening, folks!"

Guess what? ...
Hebrews 3 and Hebrews 4 teach that disobedience = unbelief.

1 Peter 3:21 was the scripture that saved me from unbelief and sin.
I wanted that clean conscience before God more than anything.
Though I knew my old sins were remitted at my baptism, (Acts 2:38), it was a little while later till I realized His atoning, sanctifying blood had been applied to me as I was "in Christ" at His crucifixion. (Rom 6:3-6)
The results?
Rom 6:7..."For he that is dead is freed from sin." (Rom 6:7)

Thanks for the reminder, Jan001.
You are welcome. :)
