Tonight I walked a short distance from my home to watch the local fire works. It seems like every year I wait until the last minute to decide I want to see them. I have that luxury, I guess, since I live a mile away from the park where they put on the show. I have to walk a short distance to get past the tall trees, so I can see the display unobstructed.
This year was like any other. I left with five minutes to spare and walked to my usual spot. The fireworks were the same as in past years. A half hour of launches and then the grand finale. A typical small town fireworks show.
As I watched the pretty colors explode in the sky, I kept thinking about how much bigger the fireworks will be at the very end.
God bless!

1 Thessalonians 5:6 Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober.
1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
I stood there and watched the fireworks. I enjoyed the show, but I walked home thinking on heavenly things and not worldly things. I wanted to share.1 Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.
God bless!
