It means 2% of the people that live in the state Nevada, and 1% of the people living in California, etc. are Orthodox. It has nothing to do with active parishioners. They are simply referring to the total percent of total population in the country or individual state that are Orthodox or another religion

Yeah. Well, the 1% are in the usual states. I was surprised that NV had 2%. I didn't know it was higher than the other places. Wasn't surprised at the 0.5% in some of the other states.

Surprised that the numbers seem so small since I was under the impression that representation was much bigger.
