Are you Now ..after quoting John
,accusing him of judging those who gave themselves over to all manner of sexual depravity ,while doing the same himself..as romans 2 is a continution of romans one and that is what Paul is talking about when he says the above verses.
As for me I am mother judging them not am I practicing the same sin.
It is true the goodness of God leads us to repentance
It is not true that he then repents for us.
That is up to us.
Jesus says ..come to me..
To come to Him we must forsake where we were..not remain there in our sin.
I am still trying to gauge where your coming from .
Your saying great sounding thing's
But there is a discord .
It is more then only spending time..The more a person loves Christ, the more they will seek to obey him in all areas of their life. The only legitimate way to love Jesus, is the same as any other relationship, and that is to spend time with him.
A Christians holiness and power are an exact representation of the time they spend with Jesus. Quantity is not even the necessary thing it is quality. The more quality time we spend with him, the more like him we become.
But there is discord.I'm quoting scripture. There is no discord from my POV. Sorry you are struggling.
But there is discord.
You quoted John
Then you said you focus on God and not your sin.
That is a cotradiction of what John stated.
I agree, spending time with God is the way to a stronger, healthier relationship with him!
It is not true that he then repents for us.
We will have to agree to disagree -
There is no such thing
As agree to disagree .
I agree fully with what John stated.
But your commentary after it contradicted what John's states.
I do not agree that it is ok to do so under any circumstance.
We are set free so that we can be as Jesus was on the earth. A vessel of righteouness. A vessel of power and faith.
