little foxes create havoc in the vineyard because they knock the blossoms of the vines ... rendering them unable to produce fruit ... it's the same with Christians ... little foxes come in among the Lord's children and churches ... knocking the wind out of the new, tender believers ... undermining their confidence in Christ ... eating holes in their faith and belief ... rendering them unsuitable for service and unable to produce good, healthy fruit ...

1 John 1:9
sin, it's reality, and remedy

self loathing is another little fox that is quite destructive ... tearing down one's confidence. And most importantly forgetting that we must forgive, to be forgiven. Jesus said all you have to do is repent and ask for forgiveness. So, so many people never forgive themselves. They will forgive others freely, but just can't seem to forgive themselves. This is the very thing that keeps one in bondage. Bondage to the past, bondage to the sin, and bondage to freedom in Christ.

Christ says He will cleanse us. We must work on our faith to believe that. When we don't forgive ourself, it becomes very difficult to move forward in our Christian walk. All the little blossoms of hope and forgiveness ... all that gets knocked right out of us. It's totally Satan's job to accuse us ... we must learn to throw those thoughts our with the trash. And believe that what the Lord says to us is the Truth. He forgives. And he remembers no more. We shouldn't visit that ever again. He doesn't and when we bring it back up, it's akin to making Him pay the price again. Forgiveness ... even in ourselves is an act of will. Will you forgive yourself? It's ever so important. It's the beginning of healing. When we live in the past, it owns us. It's that simple. It's kind of a matter of, "Get over yourself.'

may the Lord bless you on the Way
