I somehow doubt that anything is going to put a dent in creationism.

I actually agree with you. Creationism has always been impervious to logic, evidence, and reason. The same goes for Moon Landing conspiracy theories, Holocaust denial, Geocentrism, and a whole host of other nonsense.

Well, God made us (verb: 'asah) and gave us the powerful brain to use it.

So, I believe He wants you to use SCIENCE and hold its standards next to the Bible, because the Bible's purpose is "how to be saved" and not "how did life begin", that's SCIENCE's job to explain.

I do hold science up to a higher Standard, since God is the Author of science. And if it's science's job to explain how life began, they're taking too long. After all, why would God simultaneously give us the job of finding out how life began and tell us He is coming back soon? Does that make sense to you? So drop the Rodin Complex, it's working against you.

p.s. God already explained to us, in writing, how life began.

Well, that depends on how you interpret the second-coming.

Not if it was written metaphorically and in a poetic language.

If you think it's written metaphorically, that's your problem; but it does not give you the right to accuse those who don't as "throwing their brains in a trash can." FYI, Jesus didn't interpret Genesis 1 metaphorically, and neither do I, "brother."

Jesus also never once visited a dentist -- did you?

In this forum we have all witnessed what it means when we say: "An exercise in futility".

Debating with Creationists is like knocking on a deaf man's door. The funny thing is that they also interpret the Bible as they see fit. They go so far as to actually change the bible. They usually give forth their ideas as coming from the lips of God. Frankly speaking ; they would be considered heretics in times past.

Creationists should stop trying to change the Bible. They should write their own holly book and leave the others book alone; as it should be!

I side with the Christians against creationists. :D:D:D

Then you'll go without dessert waiting for "science" to feed you.

That is the silliest remark I have ever heard. First you state that you hold science to a higher standard then you dismiss science! Once again you show how oxymoron your statements are.

Science IS feeding this world!

A few examples of how science helps in securing abundant food:

Refrigeration
Weather satellites
modern agriculture
fertilizers
transportation
Pest control
Disease control
irrigation machinery
etc. etc. Ad infinitum!

Now go home and write "I SHALL NOT BLASPHEME" 1,000,000 times. You naughty boy:preach:

Thats very tricky word play.

You realize Tanzanos said "Science" not "Scientist". How is Creation (in your case Genesis 1:1) used to discover or develop any of these things on your list? this should be interesting.

Science does not switch with Creationist. A Creationist can use science for anything, and they might have in some cases. Its just that they they abandon Science with it conflicts with their belief. Your post proves only your ignorance.

If you could, I would like you to back up your claims, and go down the list and explain how each is attributed to creationist. I'm going to guess that you did not research this yourself so you will not be able to justify the list itself, but instead you grabbed it from someplace. I could be pleasely surprised though. So do tell. If you do not back up your claim, then its rubbish, and your a lier.

I did state that "science gave us". I said nothing of scientists. They could have been gay, blue, hairy, horned, or anything else for all science cares.
Science gave us all of the above from your list. Creationism had absolutely nothing to do with the above.

Perhaps we should converse in Greek since you show a poor understanding of the English language.

Maybe you should converse in daycare language, since name calling is what kids do, and I believe you understand that quite well.
