The concept of this thread is that Alan's friends don't like him anymore?
You know what will help this view? You should elect Roy Moore to the Senate with backing of the GOP and it's leader.
Prominent Liberal Legal Scholar Shunned by Liberal Friends for Telling Truth About Russia Investigation
Alan Dershowitz, proud lifelong liberal, Obama voter, friend and supporter of Bill and Hillary Clinton, has been shunned by liberal friends for proclaiming that President Donald Trump is not guilty of obstruction of justice in the Russia investigation.
“Dershowitz told The Washington Post on Wednesday, he is being shunned by many of his old political allies. His motives are being questioned. And people who used to be his friends just don’t want to hear from him.”
“None of my liberal friends invite me to dinner anymore,” he told the Post. “Thanks to Donald Trump, I’ve lost seven pounds. I call it the Donald Trump diet,” he quipped.
“There's never been a case in history where a president has been charged with obstruction of justice for merely exercising his constitutional authority. That would cause a constitutional crisis in the United States,” Dershowitz continued.
Trump has the constitutional authority — under Article II — to direct the U.S. Department of Justice toward who to investigate and who not to investigate, according to Dershowitz.
“That's what Thomas Jefferson did, that's what Lincoln did, that's what Roosevelt did. We have precedents that clearly establish that.”
No, the point of the thread is that Dershowitz is standing up for the truth of the US Constitution and apparently fellow liberals are upset with that.
It would seem that in order to be friends with them, he has to lie and go against the Constitution. It really says more about his so-called friends than about him, don't you think?
Nowhere is this being implied. Can you please stick to the topic?
Who says Alan Is a liberal. Alan does.
You have also claimed recently that you're a liberal, so i'm not sure self-proclamation is a valid source.
