Our relationship began about 30 years ago with my full faith in Him. We meet when He responds to my prayers.

Before i was born. Jesus has always known me. He has always been a massive part of my life.

He is my strength, my light who is always there to pick me up when i fall, time and time again.

30 years, a good long time (at least from one perspective). What have you learned about Him recently?

I came to Christ 3 years & some months ago. I remember having a vivid dream back in 2008 (My first encounter with The Lord). I was stood outside, gazing at the sky as a voice spoke to me and said, "Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is nigh." Unfortunately at the time, I was deeply rooted in the world. So the message obviously fell on deaf ears.

I prayed to him almost 48 years ago. I was in my bedroom on my knees.

I literally walked down the aisle of my church 38 years ago when I was 8 years old. Unfortunately, when I was 14 our church added a full drum kit, electric guitar, and electric bass guitar and we went from beautiful Psalm 150 hymns to rock music overnight. As a teenager who was still young in the Lord and not listening to the Holy Spirit enough, I liked it a lot...which got me into secular rock and metal and punk. I turned my back on Him when I was 15. Fourteen years later when I was 29 years old the Holy Spirit woke me up from sleep on a Sunday morning and all I heard was "go to church". I went. Got heavily into the Word. Four years to the day that He woke me up was the rehearsal dinner to my wedding! That was 13 years and four kids later. Praise the Lord for never giving up on me!
