On the contrary, Jesus is saying that he is fulfilling the religious aspirations of the Samaritans. No matter what mountain you worship on, God is worshipped there. It is good news indeed.

If she really wants to accommodate to Islam she will need a Burka, a Husband or Father to submit to in all things and give up her ecclesiastical position as well as not teach ideas contrary to Islam (such as Jesus being God). We need to respect Islam after all. She should especially give up her lesbianism and find a good Muslim man to marry.

Rot and nonsense. Jesus never once railed against the pagan religions of His time nor the various Jewish sects. He simply fellowshipped with folk as they were and was called a glutton and a sinner for doing so. These days, it would seem, some christians are far too proud of their spiritual status to be called sinners.

    Well............

    1 John 2
23 Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.

    2 John 1
7 Many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not acknowledge Jesus Christ as coming in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist.
8 Watch yourselves, that you do not lose what we have accomplished, but that you may receive a full reward.
9 Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.
    10 If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting;
11 for the one who gives him a greeting participates in his evil deeds.

    Well......................

    Acts of the Apostles 4
10 Let it be known to all of you and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead—by this name this man stands here before you in good health.
11 He is the STONE WHICH WAS REJECTED by you, THE BUILDERS, but WHICH BECAME THE CHIEF CORNER stone.
12 There is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.

    1 John 5
11 God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12 He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life.

    Yours and His,
    David

What kind of accommdations do hospitals and airports have for muslims? Having been to a few different airports and hospitals I have not noticed these accomodations. What accomodations are they being afforded that the rest of us inferior 6 billion people of this world do not require?

Right, we should in order not to offend never say anything negative or imply there is a difference between us an others. We should instead of submitting our will to Jesus' commands, submit our will to the Quran since this is the tolerant thing to do and would truly make Muslims feel as if they were part of the West. Their religion after all calls Christians the worst of all creatures for our idolatry regarding Jesus and Islam must be afforded every respect which means we must pay the jizya with willing submission as well.

    Yes there are "other gods".
And yes God Himself plainly states that fact in Scripture.

Ex 20 [3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

I believe Christians and Jews worship the same God of the Jews.
I have never heard a Muslim saying they worship the God of the Jews.

I believe Muslims, worship a god, whom they credit Mohammad with teaching.

Jesus had a saying about the Pharisee's, to do as they say, but do not do as they do.
Islam's prophet, leans more toward, do as I say, and what I do is blessed by god.
One only needs to read history of what he did, and seen how his behavior is supposedly justified as behavior with gods blessing of entitlement. And further recognition that nearly half of those dedicated to Islam are illiterate, thus unable to verify what they are taught. In summary, I'm not sure Muslims know who their god is, nor is it my position to dictate who their god is.

    God Bless,

From my own armchair observations there seem to be 2 major threads in European liberal Christian thought - on the one hand, what is the motivation behind this kind of strange behaviour? It looks like a kind of desperation that is something to do with wanting to fit in, to prove that Christians are 'nice' by avoiding hurting anyone's feelings with nasty things like honesty and truth, or maybe just going too far in trying to win people over by bending the truth or simply claiming that it is no longer true for some reason, and on the other hand a reckless, open ended doubting of the validity of scripture; this kind of thinking seems to be the end result of decades of liberal Christian theology. Not claiming by any means that liberal theology has not brought anything useful to the table, but it does seem that some of the leaders of today's established churches in Europe lack either the emotional stability or mental seriousness to tell the difference between careful re-examination of Christian teachings and completely random notions that treat the bible as if it is just some irrelevant and redundant collection of ramblings, completely open to interpretations, and that no interpretation of the text is any better than the next.

But she doesn't want to submit to Islam. She is not a Muslim and does not desire to be a Muslim. There's a difference between being kind towards someone, and approving of all their possible behaviors. Rendering service to someone is not the same as approval. I wish more Christians would understand this.

    Uh huh, and WHY God said;

Ex 20 [3] Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

    Judg 10
[6] And the children of Israel did evil again in the sight of the LORD, and served Baalim, and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Syria, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistines, and forsook the LORD, and served not him.

    2 Cor 4
[4] In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

There are other gods, and none are before the Lord God Almighty, who is above, before and creator of all.

No, there are no other gods. Idols are just statues, fallen angels are just fallen angels, and imaginations are just imaginations. Even Muslims understand this, and perhaps articulate it better than you do, "there is no god but God..." is the basis of tawhid, monotheism, as Muslims understand it.

Your exegesis of the Scriptures ignores progressive revelation. Isaiah was written after the Torah.

You are just using the Bible as a way to justify your contempt for Muslims and their religion. And that's deplorable.

No problem, that you pick and choose which scriptures to believe, and which scriptures to ignore.

    Total garbage.

There are other gods, and none are before the Lord God Almighty, who is above, before and creator of all.

    John 10
[34] Jesus answered them, Is it not written in your law, I said, Ye are gods?

Care to know WHEN Jesus said, Ye are gods?

    Pss 82
    [6] I have said, Ye are gods;

Scripture is something you are, as a Christian "supposed" to believe is TRUE, not dismiss it because you do not understand it.

You are not arguing against me, you are arguing against Scripture. Own it.

Big of you to make a false accusation, then somehow how make me accountable for your false accusation. THAT is deplorable.

I use the Bible to discover truths, and never have I made such an asinine claim as you purport.

Jesus is speaking figuratively. He does not literally mean there are deities like Zeus or Artemis as truly existing, autonomous entities, in the way that pagans understand that concept. We Christians are monotheists, we are not henotheists- we do not worship only one God, but believe in many others. What you seem to suggest is somehow Christian, is bronze-age superstition.

Allah is just the Arabic word for God. Even Christians in Arabic-speaking countries use this word. When we are talking about God, Christians and Muslims are referring broadly to the same concept. The Creator, the First Cause, etc.

Not submitting to Islam is disrespectful towards Islam since Islam's mandate is to make the whole world submit to Allah. Why do you want to prevent Muslims from achieving their religious goals?
