It's still a work in progress, but I wanted to get it up as soon as I could so that people could access the recipes.

I would still love people to submit recipes! There's a link on the website to submit a recipe.

I also will be putting up more articles / readings about fasting. If you know of any good readings / articles that I should include - please let me know.

Thanks everyone! Let me know what you think! (Just know that there will be some formatting stuff to be fixed in the next couple weeks, plus other enhancements).

Laura,

Great job on the website! My only comment would be to include the Old Calendar dates as well as the New. There are actually far more Orthodox Christians worldwide on the Old Calendar than on the New. Even in the US there are jurisdictions that use the Old.

Maureen - I put together a calendar of the Old Church Calendar - it is beneath the Revised Julian Calendar on the calendar page.

Perhaps I'm missing it, but I'm not seeing the OC. Also, when I click on "fasting calander" it redirects me to a Google site where I have to sign in.

P.S. In regards to dates for the OC, just add 13 days to the Julian Calander.

I forgot to make the calendar public

Could you check and see if it works? Once you get to the Fasting Calendar page - you'll just scroll down and you should see the OC version.

Very true...I just looked at it in a different browser...and itlooks like I'm going to need to work out some kinks with cross-browser compatibility as well...
