The evening is still and quiet for some time until suddenly...
Anguished screams of terror fill the void of silent sleep
Shrilling and soul jarring, the voices shriek loudly with pain
Tearing at the hearts of the lost and wandering sheep....
The air is heavy and the blackness is overwhelming
The echos of anger and hatred is too much to bear
Voices searching through the fog of ignorance
Reaching throughout the world with shame and despair
Lightening flashes for just a moment in time
Just a glimpse of hope for those who desire to know
Where is the truth hiding? What can be done for them?
The seeds have been planted, Lord...help them grow
The curtains have been drawn against the truth
Letting none of Your goodness be aquired
The dead limbs of Satan are pounding upon their doors
Twisted branches of evil that will be cast into eternal fire
The scars of yesterday cover our hearts with hardness
The flesh is diseased and dying with each passing day
Let not our spirits be consumed by wordly desires
