Lawmaker leading charge to censure Adam Schiff says he's engineering 'total political hit job' on Trump

House Intelligence Committee Chairman Adam Schiff is leading a "total political hit job" on President Trump, according to a Republican lawmaker co-sponsoring a bill to censure the California Democrat.

The American people have had the most to lose amid the Trump impeachment inquiry Schiff is leading, Rep. Debbie Lesko, R-Ariz., claimed Monday on "Your World."
Seems kinda pointless since that would do nothing to put an end to the impeachment inquiry.

It failed. The House voted along party lines to kill the resolution to censure Schiff. There have been only 6 censures before in the history of Congress. Do you really think a parodistic reading of a transcript is so horrible, especially considering what was actually in the transcript?

Talk about petty! It’s the American people - not Adam Schiff- that Trump needs to worry about.

This is a non-issue, because it's not going to happen.

....because you live in a democratic republic. There are other countries where the dictator makes all the decisions if that's what you prefer :ebil:

Because his district voted him into office. Where is all that "we're a republic" rhetoric now when it comes to following our laws?

Voters say, "Let Trump do his job".
I'm in agreement with the voters.
Which one's? The minority who elected him president?

Anyway. Doesnt matter. Impeachment is the constitutional prerogative of the congress, and the behavior of the executive definitely warrants an impeachment inquiry.

Then Pelosi should formalize it with a vote rather than drag it out without set rules and boundaries.
