Buddy of mine bought his wife a cheap Stevens 12ga to use as a turkey gun and asked me to do one of my infamous camouflage paint jobs on it.

Sprayed it Saturday and it turned out pretty good...

Awesome job, Done one of mine with the same kind of pattern {Rem 870} and it lasted several turkey seasons before starting to wear off where I handled it. I have often wondered about "Rhino Liner" or a similar coating applied to one? Has anyone ever tried this? It seems it would make em impervious to weather

Rhino Liner is more of a urethane type coating; very heavy. I would worry about function and being able to service a gun coated with that type of stuff. Maybe just a stock though?

Yeah that makes sense. I never considered the weight.
