Why does the link say ‘[bless and do not curse]’? :scratch:

I think the forum interpreted the characters in the title and read it as a curse word, as that is how the forum usually handles curse words. I edited it to remove the issue.

As to the topic, I do not hate the KJV. I think it is a good translation. I prefer using the NKJV for the most part. The NKJV retains the Textus Receptus as its manuscript source, but also notes where the critical or majority texts have a different reading. Therefore you can know what the three camps think about the text, but still have the TR reading in the actual print of the Bible.

Then if I want I can go read the various texts and see why they made the decisions they did. I find this helpful so that when we are reading in Bible study and someone uses a modern version I can quickly see that there is a difference in the texts and look up why that might be.
