My read of Exodus only mentions male priests. If you believe that today we as Christians are priests then what happens to the women? Can a woman be a priest of the lord and when did that change in scripture?

We are all priests of God in the sense that we offer sacrifices to God of our whole lives, intercede for others, and other things. But the role of being an ordained priest (Bishops also) is male-only in the Old and New Covenants, and before the Old. Nothing changed.

Priests were chosen by God and now He chooses those who choose Him. This is the everlasting condition we are in as the true "Royal Priesthood" in the Kingdom of God where Jesus Christ of Nazareth is King. Blessings.

As a side note the Church has no female clergy, while not being above the Word of God but serving it. Fascinating.

God doesn't really follow a timeline of changes.
But gender bias is not possible under God's law.
