The term was used after Malachi finished his works. Known by the time of Jesus manhood but not mentioned in the Bible until John the Baptist. It was the hope of Israel, that the Messiah would come and reign as king, securing Israel from foreign powers from then on.

But Jesus the Messiah did not want to overpower Rome... He wanted to convert Rome, and defeated death and sin instead.

Where Jesus the Christ is ruling, there is His kingdom. In the hearts of the church throng, and amidst them. Needs surrender, in dying to self, and living to God.

The Kingdom of God is over all other kingdoms.
A kingdom is the reign of a king...if the King is not there..... no Kingdom.
Look what happened to Israel when they killed their king
Acts 1:6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

What's a Biblical definition?
Matthew 12:
25Knowing their thoughts, Jesus said to them, “Every kingdom divided against itself will be laid waste, and every city or household divided against itself will not stand. 26If Satan drives out Satan, he is divided against himself. How then can his kingdom stand? 27And if I drive out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons drive them out? So then, they will be your judges. 28But if I drive out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.

1 Corinthians 4:20 "For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power."

Romans 14:16-18 Do not allow what you consider good, then, to be spoken of as evil. For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking, but of righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit. For whoever serves Christ in this way is pleasing to God and approved by men.

Matthew 13: 45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, 46 who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.

When all is said and done only those things we have done for the Kingdom of God will last and have eternal significance.

God Bless :)
