One of the verses cited most often for biblically backed anti-Semitism is Matthew 27:24-25
“When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see ye to it. Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.”
Many Christians throughout the ages have taken that scripture to mean that the Jews not only were responsible for Jesus's crucifixion, they specifically took responsibility and said his blood is upon them and their children.
It's not hard to see how Jewish persecution from the Christian majority a couple centuries down the road would have grown out of scriptures like that.
Its irrational to blame an historical record for the criminal acts of extremists. Should we sensor historical records then? Is that rational? Surely not
Not to mention that the bible also gives examples of many Jews that loved Jesus and didn't kill him. All the first Christians were Jews, and the commands and teaching of Christ and his apostles teach us not to hate the Jews but to love everyone. Many Christians think we must support Israel. They think its Gods will that we support them, not hate and kill them. You are blaming the bible for the acts of a madman. That is utterly absurd. Your whole argument is irrational and bigoted.
