Speaking at a rally organized by Turning Point Action, Charlie Kirk's right-wing organization, Lake said: "They have built a house of cards in Maricopa County. I'm not just going to knock it over. I'm going to burn it to the ground." Lake shared a video of her speech, with a caption quoting her comments and a fire emoji.

.....prior to the AZ Supreme Court ruling....

Failed MAGA gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake is urging her supporters to pray for not only her lost election, but also seemingly for Donald Trump as the former president faces possible indictment.

Ms Lake shared a video to Twitter in which she asks supporters to pray that her Arizona election loss is overturned, and for a "bigger prayer – an end to corruption, a restoration of God's glory and a restoration of our God-given rights."

In a video attached to the tweet Ms Lake is seen clutching a Bible and speaking to a crowd, telling them "we need to open more eyes and wake more people up to what's happening."

The crowd responds "amen."

Prayer is one of the best things we can do. Our nation's founding document recognizes that our right come from our Creator. Hopefully the order of the Arizona Supreme Court will be obeyed and the signatures legitimately examined. The three whistleblowers were very brave. I've spoken with federal whisteblowers who lost their executive branch positions for coming forward with the truth, we could use so many more.

Prayer to the god of MAGA? No thank you.

In addition to further review of the signature verification piece, there is another unresolved issue in the case: whether Lake should face sanctions for filing what Hobbs’ attorneys have dubbed a frivolous and bad-faith lawsuit.

The Supreme Court said Lake, Hobbs and Fontes could file court arguments on the issue, but restricted those arguments only to Lake’s factual claims, such as that over 35,000 ballots were “added” to affect the outcome of the election.

“The record does not reflect that 35,563 unaccounted ballots were added to the total count,” he wrote in the court’s opinion. “The motions for sanctions will be considered in due course.”

The Supreme Court did not evaluate Lake's signature claim on its merit, only on the legal justifications offered by prior courts. The court's order requires Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson to evaluate that single element of Lake's case again to determine if the claim was properly dismissed previously, or if Lake can prove “votes (were) affected ‘in sufficient numbers to alter the outcome of the election.’”

The Supreme Court quoted the appeals court ruling, saying that to prove her claim, Lake must provide a “competent mathematical basis to conclude that the outcome would plausibly have been different, not simply an untethered assertion of uncertainty.”

Remember they were going after Lake for displaying voter signatures from a previous election, even though those signatures had come from a public display. When Trump was in the White House they were dealing with practically a lawsuit every day, the idea is to stop those from running who dare question the establishment. They are going after those who dare represent conservatives as well, even the Guantánamo Bay terrorists were allowed to have legal representation. There has been a long train of abuses and those abuses need to stop.

Courts ruling against one’s frivolous suits aren’t “abuse”.

Too bad the Bible doesn’t recognize that. The claim that our rights come from God is heretical.

Arizona Supreme Court fines Kari Lake's lawyers over false election claims

May 4 (UPI) -- Arizona's Supreme Court Thursday ordered former gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake's lawyers to pay a $2,000 fine to the court clerk for repeated false statements related to last year's election.

Chief Justice Robert Brutinel signed Thursday's order, requiring Lake's legal team to pay the fine for claiming 35,563 ballots were wrongly added to the vote count in Maricopa County and calling the claim an "undisputed fact."

Brutinel declined to award legal fees to attorneys for Gov. Katie Hobbs, D-Ariz., and Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes.

Well, with a fine like $2,000, she must be rethinking her life choices. /s

That seems fair and appropriate, they said it was not in dispute and it is in dispute. All should be careful with their words. We will have to wait to see what the court concludes on the signature issue.

No, it is not in dispute; again, this is the Supreme Court of Arizona claiming it is "undisputed." To be in dispute would require actual evidence of which none has been shown -- which is why the Supreme Court stated that Lake's lawyers (and Lake, since she has said the same things) "repeated false statements." Making baseless claims does not make something "disputed."

A superior court judge in Maricopa County is now reviewing Lake's claim that the county did not follow signature verification procedures.
Jacqueline Onigkeit, who worked as a level one reviewer during last year’s election, spent more than an hour explaining the lengths to which county went to verify signatures — the weeklong training of workers, the two shifts of level one reviewers, three levels of signature review, the admonition to get it right.

“They (supervisors) told us, ‘You need to be very cautious. You need to pay attention to what you’re doing and remember that whatever you reject or approve, you can be called in to testify,’ ” Onigkeit testified.

As a witness for the defense, Onigkeit was dynamite.

The problem is, she was supposed to be the star witness for Lake.

Then in the mirror universe, a witness for the County has allegedly proven Lake's case.

AZ Supreme Court does not see Kari Lake's appeal. Also won't fast-track case.

In a brief order Wednesday, the Arizona Supreme Court rejected the request of the failed Republican candidate to immediately take up her appeal of a lower court ruling that went against her. The justices did not give any reason other than to say there was "no good cause" to let her skip the normal process of first taking the case to the Court of Appeals.

Kari Lake’s 3rd trial to begin after unsuccessful lawsuit challenging her loss in 2022 Arizona governor’s race

PHOENIX (AP) — Kari Lake, the Republican who unsuccessfully challengedher defeat in the 2022 Arizona governor’s race, is headed to another trial Thursday in a separate lawsuit, this time asking to review ballot envelopes signed by approximately 1.3 million early voters in the state’s most populous county.
--
She is also set to announce a run for Senate.

Kari Lake set to launch Arizona Senate bid next month

When she loses, it's not clear whether she will resign her fake governorship to take on the mantle of fake Senator.

It's wonderful that she takes the time to promote fairness in future elections. Maricopa County is still resisting an examination of signatures, insisting that the ballot affidavit envelopes are voter registration records, and thus private.
