Regardless of the US's immigration policy, there is some reason (or group of reasons) why large numbers of people are leaving their homes to travel here. The Vice President is trying to investigate what those reasons are. The effect of climate change on local agriculture is one of many possible factors to consider. Here is a statement from the VP from about a month ago describing some of the factors being studied: Remarks by Vice President Harris at Virtual Roundtable of Experts on the Northern Triangle | The White House

Climate change, political instability of South/central America caused partly by the actions of US govts, and the war on drugs are all drivers of immigration.

Indeed, and while Vice President Harris is not wrong, we still need to address the immediate problem before tackling the root issue.

There is no limit to what God can do.

Which means He caused the climate change which is partially causing people to come to the U.S., where His followers can turn them away.

Perhaps He's testing you.
Perhaps you're failing.

God causes climate change in your opinion?

The Bible says GOD is in control of the
weather. Sometimes He uses weather

-for blessings

14That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

-for punishment

7And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months
to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city: one piece was rained upon, and the piece whereupon it rained not withered.

-for the day of battle and war

22Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen
the treasures of the hail, 23Which I have reserved against the time of trouble,
against the day of battle and war?

3The LORD is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit
the wicked: the LORD hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm,
and the clouds are the dust of his feet.

Job 37:9-13:

Out of the Chamber cometh the storm; and cold out of the north.
By the breath of God ice is given, and the breadth of the waters is straitened.
… And they are turned round about by His guidance, that they may do
whatsoever He commandeth them upon the face of the habitable world:

Whether it be for correction, or for His Earth, or for mercy, that He cause it to come.

perhaps the climate has nothing what so ever to do with people wanting to come to the USA, the climate may have changed, their goals have not.

It is the Biden administration that is failing in a grand way, they have created a mess that they do not seem to be able acknowledge let alone do anything constructive to solve. What exactly has Harris, who is supposed to be in charge of resolving this problem, done about it so far?

What about culturally-based contentness with substandard living, and a lack of will to make changes... Because the War on Drugs and Climate Change are here in the U.S. too, so I don't really get it.

At the end of the article:
“The Border Patrol has told me that the biggest problem we have now is there [are] no consequences associated with entering the country illegally,” said Sen. John Cornyn, Texas Republican.

The White House did not return requests for comment.
President Kamala could not be bothered to comment.

In recent years, drought has destroyed crops and in 2020, two Category 4 Hurricanes slammed into Honduras just weeks apart.

The 2019 drought led to a state of emergency being declared in Honduras in August, with the southern section of the country reporting 72 percent of corn and 75 percent beans being lost, according to the country’s Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock. The 2018 and 2019 droughts and flooding also hit Central America’s coffee growers hard. Coffee growing is a fundamental part of the livelihoods of the poorest population in the region, with 1.3 million people in Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras and Nicaragua (3.5% of the total population) who depend on this income as small producers and/or cutters.
Fifth Straight Year of Central American Drought Helping Drive Migration.

So what did Honduras do to deserve this?

Who said they deserved it?

It was stated that God controls the weather.....along with scripture provided implying God is punishing countries that are suffering the effects of climate change...

Well, and you left out:
-for the day of battle and war

22Hast thou entered into the treasures of the snow? or hast thou seen
the treasures of the hail, 23Which I have reserved against the time of trouble,

The question he was answering was whether God was in control of climate change - which his response answers without necessarily implying Honduras deserved the weather they'd gotten.
