Just Ask
Many times we struggle with ourselves and others when we want to achieve a certain goal. However, to struggle is not the correct way we should seek to fulfill our goals or accomplish our purposes.
We are told very simply in the Bible: Matthew 7: Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. 9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? 10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? 11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
In other words, just ask!! The Father hears you if you ask quietly, meekly, and humbly. We shouldnt take the position we need to shout and scream in His Ear, badger Him until we get what we want (as if this is the key to achieving our purposes), struggle, or pray again and again and again for the same thing. He hears us. He knows what we want, He knows what we need even before we ask.
Matthew 11:30 - my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Psalms 55:22 - Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
1 Peter 5:7 - Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
Substitute the above attitude within yourselves in place of that sense of struggling in your communications with God.
