Dear Brothers and Sisters,
The readings today are from the optional Memorial of St. Bridget of Sweden. Hopefully we will listen to all God says to us today, with the ears of our hearts, and by His Grace we will do the Truth we hear, for His Glory through Mary our Mother and for the good of All His children.
Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Your Faithful. Kindle in us the Fire of Your Love. Jesus on this Friday, enable us to hear the fullness of Truth you promised and the Holy Spirit brought to the Church on Pentecost. Enable us to Listen to Your Word and Remain in Your Love. Jesus we trust in You! Mary Mother of the Church pray for us. St. Joseph, St. Bridget of Sweden and all you holy Saints and Angels pray for us! Amen.

Reading 1 (Gal 2:19-20)
…Through the law I died to the law, that I might live for God. I have been crucified with Christ; yet I live, no longer I, but Christ lives in me; insofar as I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God Who has loved me and given Himself up for me.
Responsorial Psalm (Ps 34) -" …I sought the LORD, and He answered me and delivered me from all my fears… Taste and see the goodness of the Lord."
Alleluia verse - (Jn 15) - “Remain in my love, says the Lord; whoever remains in Me and I in him will bear much fruit.”
Gospel (Jn 15:1-8)
Jesus said to his disciples: "I am the true vine, and My Father is the vine grower. He takes away every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, and every one that does He prunes so that it bears more fruit. You are already pruned because of the word that I spoke to you. Remain in Me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in Me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without Me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in Me will be thrown out like a branch and wither; people will gather them and throw them into a fire and they will be burned. If you remain in Me and My words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. By this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit and become My disciples."
