The LORD….the I AM…the Living One…smites the outside world (“Egypt”) with His judgment. This is a now thing as He judges the outside world.
The Living Judge executes judgments upon all the “gods”…the “elohim” (judges)…of “Egypt” (the world).
Exodus 12:12 KJV
(12) For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
The LORD is God. He is the Living (Jehovah) Judge (Elohim). He is the Living (LORD) Judge (God, Elohim=Judge) that judges those on the outside.
The outside world’s “gods”…their elohim/ judges…their handwritings…are not living.
1 Corinthians 5:12-13 KJV
(12) For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
(13) But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.
The “gods” or “elohim” (meaning “judges”) of the world ( Egypt) speaks of the handwritings of the ordinances of men (their constitutions, statutes, by-laws, articles, ordinances, etc. ) that they use to judge themselves and others with as they seek to self-govern themselves rather than have the Living One and His living commandments rule over and judge them.
Their “customs”….that is, the ordinances/statutes…..are empty.
They…the handwritings of ordinances… are the work of the hands of the workman. They cut a tree out of the forest. When one cuts a tree out of the forest, that tree becomes dead. They are dead works.
Jeremiah 10:3-6 KJV
(3) For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
Yet, the handwritings of man’s hand are revered by men. They are considered precious among men.
Men have incorporated the handwritings (which are patterned after the world’s) of men into their churches where they should not be found.
They need to continue to preach them with nails and hammers so that they move not out of the churches. The "nails" are words that their preachers repeatedly "hammer" into the minds of others so it becomes fixated in their minds. From Ecclesiastes: (The words of the wise are as goads, and as nails fastened by the masters of assemblies, which are given from one shepherd).
(4) They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
The handwritings of man’s hand appear to true and righteous. Their writings appear upright...even words of truth. (The preacher sought to find out acceptable words: and that which was written was upright, even words of truth).
(5) They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.
(6) Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.
Men have made many “books”….that is, WRITINGS. There is no end to the handwritings of men that they use to judge themselves and others with. The handwritings are earnestly adhered to by those who serve and worship them more than the true God.

Instead, we are to fear the One true God ….the true Judge…and keep His commandments and not the handwritings of the commandments of men that many serve and worship as they use them to judge others with.
(13) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
The revered handwritings of the world/churches are not living judges nor do they bring life to those who serve them.
They…the handwritings of men…. are dedicated to destruction in the judgment of the Living Judge upon them. They are the works of man’s hands rather than God’s.
Blessed is the nation whose God (Elohim...Judge) is the LORD (the Living Judge). They have made the LORD the Living Judge in their lives rather than following a dead handwriting …the product of man’s hand… that does not bring life and cannot do anything on its own.

(12) Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.
The LORD…the Living One…He is God (Elohim….Judge). Our LORD is the Living Judge. He made us.

(3) Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
He is not the product of our own handwritings of church ordinances that many serve and worship more than the true God who made all of us.
The handwritings of ordinances are the works of the church scribes who thought they “saw something” in the Scriptures and so trespassed/intruded into the Scriptures to pick and choose certain external commandments to include in their handwritings for others to serve and judge others with.
We must NOT copy the world’s handwritings (their “gods”) which are devoted to destruction and place them inside our churches to serve and worship along with the true God.
Men preach their handwritings of church ordinances for money’s sake. The handwritings bring gain to those who preach them in the hidden covetousness within their hearts.
The church handwritings of ordinances that are patterned from the world’s handwritings must not be found in our gatherings in His name. We must not make them our “judge”…elohim…as there is only One Judge…only One Elohim. There is only One King who rules over us…..not the handwritings of the church scribes.
The handwritings of men’s hands are the “accursed thing”….that which is devoted to destruction. They are doomed things that burn those who use them.
God judges the “gods of Egypt”.
If we take them in and make them our own, we are being destroyed in the judgment of the Living Judge. The whole church is then is being destroyed when we take of the accursed thing and put it among us.
Joshua 6:18 KJV
(18) And ye, in any wise keep yourselves from the accursed thing, lest ye make yourselves accursed, when ye take of the accursed thing, and make the camp of Israel a curse, and trouble it.
There is an “accursed thing”….a thing devoted to destruction….among our stuff in the churches of men.
That accursed thing is the handwritings of church ordinances that were patterned after the world’s handwritings and were placed inside our gatherings so that we may serve and worship them instead of our Living Judge. We must get rid of it. We must take away the "accursed thing" from among us. We must not sit together with those who are promoting it and coveting after the money that comes with it.

(11) Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed my covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.
(12) Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their enemies, but turned their backs before their enemies, because they were accursed: neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.
(13) Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith the LORD God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of thee, O Israel: thou canst not stand before thine enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.
Remember Achan (which means “trouble”) who committed a trespass in the “accursed thing”…the thing devoted to destruction… and wrath fell on ALL of the congregation of Israel.
Achan did not perish alone in his iniquity as the wrath of God fell upon others along with him. Achan brought trouble upon the whole congregation.

(20) Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity.
Achan sinned against the LORD God….the Living Judge...and brought wrath upon ALL of the congregation of Israel.

(20) And Achan answered Joshua, and said, Indeed I have sinned against the LORD God of Israel, and thus and thus have I done:
Many see the handwritings of the outside world (the “goodly Babylonish garment”) and the riches that come with the handwritings and so they go and copy the world’s handwritings (their constitutions, statutes, by-laws, etc) and include them in their churches. They covet after them.
(21) When I saw among the spoils a goodly Babylonish garment, and two hundred shekels of silver, and a wedge of gold of fifty shekels weight, then I coveted them, and took them; and, behold, they are hid in the earth in the midst of my tent, and the silver under it.
The “garment” is the works of the handwriting of church ordinances that many serve and worship. We are to hate the “garment” spotted by the flesh….the “Babylonish garment”….written by man’s hands .
The wrath of God is upon all that are serving and worshipping the works of man’s hands (the church handwritings…the accursed thing…the thing devoted to destruction). Men are preaching things that they ought not be (the doctrines and commandments of men that are written down in their decrees) for money’s sake….filthy lurcre’s sake.
That is why we must “make a difference” and seek to save others with fear, pulling them out of the fire of God’s wrath which is upon them…..while hating the garment stained by the flesh…the “Babylonish garment”.
We must seek to pull others out of the fire where serving and worshipping of the church handwritings of church scribes which brings the judgment of God upon the children of disobedience. .

The church handwritings ….the doctrines and commandments of men…do not save anyone who serve and worship them…who submit themselves to the working of them.
Why be subject to the handwritings of man’s hand which are patterned after the handwritings of the world ….the rudiments/principles of the world? The “rudiments”/elements/fundamental principles “burn” as they are the “accursed thing”…the thing devoted to destruction.
Colossians 2:20-23 KJV
(20) Wherefore if ye be dead with Christ from the rudiments of the world, why, as though living in the world, are ye subject to ordinances,
(21) (Touch not; taste not; handle not;
All are to perish under God’s wrath …the fire… by the using of the commandments and doctrines of men (the accursed, devoted to destruction thing).
(22) Which all are to perish with the using) after the commandments and doctrines of men?
(23) Which things have indeed a shew of wisdom in will worship, and humility, and neglecting of the body; not in any honour to the satisfying of the flesh.
