No one cares?
Fascinating how they'll opine about the news of the murder, death, of Scalia but they don't care about the religious ceremony sending him off.

I think there's ample evidence to suspect Scalia was murdered. In one day, the day of the news of his death, its reported he died of natural causes. Though his wife in later day(s) was reported as refusing an autopsy for him. The day he was reported dead news outlets reported he was in fine health, no problems, fit, etc...
The next day news outlets reported just the opposite.
Scalia was at what was said to be typically a couples retreat but he was alone. And having died there his wife refuses an autopsy but the report, without that, is that he died of natural causes. Case closed.

Impossible to tell he died of natural causes without opening him up to find the cause.

Rest in peace sir. You deserved better than this.

Not much opportunity to troll or flame bait in a thread about a funeral for a SCOTUS judge. I think that's why there's lack of interest.
Good points there too. How do they arrive at a natural causes determination on a body that wasn't autopsied?
It's politics. I saw a movie once where this guy was murdered after he talked to his wife on the phone. He fell to the floor and died of a heart attack.
As he's laying there taking his last gasps his assassin lets himself into the room through one of those hotel joiner doors, takes the phone handset into a plastic bag, replaces it with a regular handset, lets himself back out the joiner door and latches it to lock from the other side with a nifty little wire thing.

The dead man's body guards come into the room and find him on the floor. No signs of a struggle, he just died of a heart attack after his call to his wife.

It's politics. Anything's possible.

Now the GOP majority is saying the court has to risk tie votes the way they did when Scalia was alive but for that 9th judge as the tie breaker back then. Meaning all those cases that were thought worthy of going to the highest court will, if the SCOTUS bench votes a tie decision, goes back to the lower courts original decision. Making the trip to SCOTUS expensive and yet worthless.

Somethings up that's for sure.
The election come November will maybe give us insight as to just what that is.
