I fine letting people be who they want to be.

The exception is womens sports. But for the rest of life, who cares. You do you.

you think the difference between a tomboy and a woman claiming to be a man is just identifying as a man? you can just claim you are man and everyone needs to like it just like that? and if someone says you are not a man then you are a hateful bigot?.

You would be protesting too if what you thought were perfectly legitimate remarks but you got kick out of the all the news, social etc media platforms that are out there. Liberalism/Progressivism has its own media platform in the movies, music, social media, news media, etc (you have a free "mic to the world" to voice your opinions without consequences). But your view of yourself is sooooooooo unrealistic. Yes, many fed, state and local governments are led by conservative minded people but liberals/progressives control what and how news/events/subjects/morality are portray to the world. So you might think your group is "David" against the conservative thinking government "Goliaths" but in reality, you are the "Goliaths" and the people without a media voice are the conservative "Davids".

Because liberal/progressive media WON'T ALLOW a conservative voice to be heard on any media platform, you will always be "Goliath" and more and more conservatives will be brought into government because American's love an underdog. If conservative ideas are that terrible give them a voice on social, news etc media. People will see if they are lousy views or not and if they are they will reject them.

Conservative minded people are working on conservative social, news etc media platforms (and in FOX News they have succeeded). They will eventually control the way news/events/subjects/morality are talked about and viewed then and only then will liberal/progressive people be a minority and be seen as "David".

I think you need to slow down and go back and read what he was responding to.

I agree, and think most people would. But some examples, like JP, will evoke visceral responses that some just can't get past. It's what he's known for as one of the earlier opponents of PC.

He can set up his own website. Or he can go shout at people in the street by the bins near Tesco. He can say anything he likes.

But if the supplier of the internet service he wants to use has rules that this guys breaks he gets booted. Cause and effect. He knows the rules.

Very much like how I would get booted from this website if I spoke in an inappropriate way about the other people who use this site. Cause and effect. I know the rules.

Do you see what I mean?

Thing is that conservatives USED to control it all. There is no reason to think that they will regain control.

If he didn't have a platform and following they'd ignore him. But he does and he's willing to tackle controversial issues and mentions faith frequently. When it comes to the latter who matters. The more personable and relatable you are the bigger the threat. You'll draw in the ones others can't and they want everyone hell bound.

Or, you could just not violate Twitter's Terms of Service. You could just do that.

Yeah, I value people who are not afraid to speak their minds too. Although I have seen him block and whine about leaving Twitter when he does receive massive backlash. While he is one who at the end of the day cannot help but speak his mind, I wish he had a more stoic attitude when he faces blowback about it.

I liked it when he went after that fat woman in that one magazine cover a few months back. Sadly, his commentary was not very thoughtful and as a result he opened himself up to pretty easy attacks. He can be quite condescending with people, and I do not think he is as smart as he believes himself to be, or his massive followers tell him.

I'm sure he'll do fine on the Daily Wire. People like that are not ultimately going to be shut up, and trans people will just have to learn to find inner peace instead of relying on creating a world that pressures others to lie and pretend to validate them.

You need a lot of indifference to weather it and that has its challenges. When you're that oblivious to what people think and feel (where you're concerned) it can be viewed as a lack of empathy, harshness, or condescension depending on the person. It has to be tempered.

It doesn't take deep intellect to address the things he does. You don't need to be bookish to speak the truth. You need to be wise and able to convey it in a manner people understand no matter their intelligence. That's usually KISS in all honesty.

Someone has to throw the first rock. You've seen it with him and Rowling. Others will follow. They're not the only ones who feel that way. They're in a better position to be heard. But that doesn't mean the rest should be silent. There's too much at stake.

He was right about that too. He pointed out that it's literally an athletic magazine showing a woman's unhealthy body.

I've seen other people weather the storm. He's a (or was?) psychologist who is in his 60s. He should have better control of his emotions, especially if he wants to take on the woke crowd.

He's really just an embarrassment. I don't know how he's garnered such a large following, especially when there are thinkers similar to him who do a much better job conveying their thoughts and reactions to pushback. Almost wonder if it was somehow engineered that way, lol.

In some respects, yes; in others I think one needs to be sufficiently mentally sharp. When one takes on the woke mob, you're dealing with a largely college educated crowd. Despite many woke people behaving like sheep and often being unable to conjure up an original thought on their own, a lot are curiously intelligent. Especially those who develop a following and a platform. From what I've seen from Jordan Peterson he's not very good at bantering with this crowd. There are others who do better like Gad Saad or Karen Straughan. I'll admit, the anti-woke crowd often loses a lot more arguments than it really should.

It would be much better if they were the face of anti-woke than Jordan Peterson. Although this partly may be due to the wanting to pick on a weaker target.

I can see why many conservatives would rather look at the steel hard abs and chiseled physique of a male model, but give some respect to people who like rubenesque women.

By lying about bill C16 at the height of the anti-"SJW" trend a few years ago, and parlaying it into a career as a pop philosopher/self-help guru.

He's Deepak Chopra for bros and MRAs. The quintessential stupid person's idea of a smart person.

Ehhh...personally, I would cite John McWhorter as a better example than either of those. I recommend Woke Racism to anyone reading along. Does a very good job of granting that a lot of people who buy into "wokism" are well-intentioned, but explains why it's detrimental to real progress.

Is he the Deepak Chopra of MRAs? The ones I follow are not particularly enamored with him. Karen Straughan a self-proclaimed MRA has spoken fondly of him, but she's formed her own ideas about gender. The most I hear is some sympathy being aired that he's viewed as a sort of "father figure" for many men who grew up without one, but it's never said in a very ideal manner.

I don't consider myself an MRA, and only listen to a few circles of that crowd. Perhaps Jordan Peterson is more popular in other MRA crowds I do not follow? Although overall I think actual MRA numbers are quite small.

I have heard of John McWhorter, although I am not overly familiar with him. There are a few men I listen to who have intelligent things to say about racial issues, but currently they're way too politically incorrect to even mention. As of now, I'd guess John McWhorter is probably the safest to try to get out into the mainstream.
