YES - that is CNN reporting:

Special counsel John Durham concluded that the FBI should never have launched a full investigation into connections between Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia during the 2016 election, according to a report compiled over three years by the Trump-administration appointee and released on Monday.
Durham’s 300-plus page report also states that the FBI used “raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence,” to launch the “Crossfire Hurricane” investigation into Trump and Russia but used a different standard when weighing concerns about alleged election interference regarding Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
“Indeed, based on the evidence gathered in the multiple exhaustive and costly federal investigations of these matters, including the instant investigation, neither U.S. law enforcement nor the Intelligence Community appears to have possessed any actual evidence of collusion in their holdings at the commencement of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation,” Durham said in his report.

Durham says he found that the Crossfire Hurricane investigation “did not and could not corroborate any of the substantive allegations” contained in the controversial Steele dossier, which was used by the FBI to obtain a FISA warrant.

“As noted, it was not until mid-September that the Crossfire Hurricane investigators received several of the Steele Reports. Within days of their receipt, the unvetted and unverified Steele Reports were used to support probable cause in the FBI’s FISA applications targeting (Carter) Page, a U.S. citizen who, for a period of time, had been an advisor to Trump,” the report says.

“As discussed later in the report, this was done at a time when the FBI knew that the same information Steele had provided to the FBI had also been fed to the media and others in Washington, D.C,” it adds.

A report by Special Counsel John Durham released Monday found the FBI should not have launched a full investigation into the connections between former President Donald Trump’s campaign and Russia during the 2016 election, with the report saying the FBI used “raw, unanalyzed and uncorroborated intelligence” to justify the investigation.

Think about this for a moment - no Crossfire Hurricane mean there would never had been a Mueller Investigation - and there would never had been a first impeachment.

All these are actions resulting from an investigation that is tainted - my question is does the clean hands doctrine fit in this scenario?

Special counsel John Durham concluded that the FBI should never have launched a full investigation

Just a preliminary investigation. And since many indictments and convictions eventually resulted, it's hard for me to believe that a preliminary investigation would not have proceeded at some point to a full one, leading to substantially identical results.

Thats is false. Durham did not contest the justification for the FBI's preliminary investigation.

Remind me again how many convictions Mr. Durham's investigation obtained?

Formally, I believe Durham prosecuted Clinesmith, who pleaded guilty. But Clinesmith's activities had already been uncovered by other investigators.
The two 'new' prosecutions that Durham initiated both ended in acquittals.

The first impeachment wasn't about that investigation. It was about Trump's Ukraine phone call.

Yes, Durham felt there was a rush to full investigation.

He did not contest any rationale for the prelim investigation tho - which I think would have proceeded to full in due course anyway, just based on what they did find. Keep in mind that a lot of the Durham text is about Trump personally while it seems to sidestep issues related to the Trump campaign where some shady business was happening.

Where does the clean hands doctrine come in to play? Is there a violation? Thoughts?

The problem is that Trump is so obviously odious that his complaints about getting a fair trial anywhere that the public has had to deal with him or his business personally do have merit.

But the evidence either warrants a trial (or investigation in this case) or it doesnt. And I think it does. Just because anyone with sense really dislikes the guy doesnt give him a free pass to behave illegally.

Nothing anybody didn't already know, and nothing that won't get swept under the rug even after it is made official.

Yeah its nothing most didn't already know and for years have been sharing about it.

So here we are 316 pages that.. well I am amazed at how many are more schooled or wiser then Bill Durham. No all they/we have is 316 pages and nothing else yet ...they know the real truth haha. Its Adam Schiff .. he went on air to many times talking about what he saw all the proof yet we watched at the same time Tray Gowdy tell us he saw everything Adam Schiff has and there is nothing there. This and then all the other lies and its ok. Clinton? "Shh ..hey look over there orange man bad". Yeah what she did vs just Trump and? Its ok

So praise God glory to Jesus its just getting started. All of no offense to some but allot of facts that get reported by other news networks gets oddly left out.

Too little, too late, I'm afraid. This has been going on far longer than the last 40 years. There really is nothing new here —it's just getting more blatant. Trump himself said it a long time ago. Nothing's going to happen to Hillary.

That's because Hillary is 100% innocent of all crimes for which she was investigated. Trump, on the other hand is known to commit fraud and sexual assault.

The first impeachment wasn't about that investigation. It was about Trump's Ukraine phone call.
It's weird how many conservatives think it's the former though.

All they need to know is that “the first impeachment was bad” and must be defended; if they have to make stuff up to do that, that’s okay.
This is normal political speech but all swollen up like a ballon.
Like there’s an infection in the body politic that thinks it’s “the good guys”.
