We live in Western Maryland were a man has been working on an Ark since I was a child I believe he started in the 70's it's still just a frame. You can see it from interstate 68

If I were nearby I would certainly go and visit. I compliment this gentleman on pursuing an aspect of his faith in a tangible manner.

The legend of the Ark is one example of purging where, as the story goes, God decided to start all over again. It also explains in a truly romantic way the origins of the rainbow. So it's a beautiful story - portraying genocide and destruction in a rather charming and heart-warming fashion.

I actually like the story of the Ark a lot because it exemplifies the idea of a biosphere and how human stewardship can save the other creatures on the planet.
