Joel Osteen = False Teacher?

Well, this is thee statement of faith of Lakewood Church. Its what I believe andn the the Spirit of God affirms in my heart.
The Bible
We believe the entire Bible is inspired by God, without error and the authority on which we base our faith, conduct and doctrine.

The Trinity
We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who came to this earth as Savior of the world.

Salvation
We believe Jesus died on the cross and shed His blood for our sins. We believe that salvation is found by placing our faith in what Jesus did for us on the cross. We believe Jesus rose from the dead and is coming again.

Water Baptism
We believe water baptism is a symbol of the cleansing power of the blood of Christ and a testimony to our faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

Communion
We believe in the regular taking of Communion as an act of remembering what the Lord Jesus did for us on the cross.

Growing Relationship
We believe every believer should be in a growing relationship with Jesus by obeying God's Word, yielding to the Holy Spirit and by being conformed to the image of Christ.

The Bible speaks of people who have the gift of encouragement, and Joel invites his viewers to accept Jesus as Lord at the end of his sermons. I think he serves a good purpose.

I believe that he is a false teacher because the bible says that there would be them that say gain is godliness. Let's stop as Christians as a whole taking "logic" and our own way of thinking and go by what the holy word of God says. The bible says that "he that believeth on me the works that I do shall he do and great shall he do because I go unto the father." that's Jesus speaking in John 14:12. He said he that believeth not some but all. HE does no works and faith without works is dead. So he has no faith.

Well, that wouldn't convince me of anything about Joel, Broken. We all talk about how to make more money. Its one of the reasons we get an education, so I don't see how that makes anyone a false prophet. Now if Joel spoke like Mohammed then I'd think he was.
