I believe we should treat all Presidents equally.

Here is the “President elect” lying with no scientific proof that Covid will end by a certain date.

With 300,000 dead and spikes all over the US.

I am questioning that number.

What if -- in previous years when all we had was the normal seasonal flu -- what if there was a car accident and 3 people died , two of which had the flu. Then what if the "cause of death" for one is listed as "car accident" and for the other two it was listed as "flu".

How many "flu deaths per year" would there be each year in such a skewed world view?

How is saying “I believe by next Christmas we will be close to normal “ lying ?

Not like it is unreasonable statement with vaccines here and being distributed.

Unlike some statements...

The very same way saying this will be over by summer was considered lying and not scientifically supported by our president.

I’m just applying the same standards for president’s comments

The difference of course being Trump had only his ego and Biden administration has a working vaccine during next year.

But hey let’s not get logic in a way here same as putting quote marks on Biden being president elect.

Just shows how far out of reality some people are.

You need to rad this:
How COVID-19 Deaths Are Counted

For COVID-19, the immediate cause of death might be listed as respiratory distress, with the second line reading “due to COVID-19.” Contributing factors such as heart disease, diabetes or high blood pressure would then be listed further down. This has led to some confusion by people arguing that the “real” cause of death was heart disease or diabetes, Aiken said, but that’s not the case.

“Without the COVID19 being the last straw or the thing that led to the chain of events that led to death, they probably wouldn’t have died,” she said.

There is a working vaccine right now - one that the Trump administration made happen in record time. joe was sitting in his basement while it was being developed.

But hey, let's not let facts get in the way of narrative.

Just shows how far out of reality some people are.

The question is still - when someone puts out the number 300,000 for COVID deaths do they mean "immediate cause of death" only or do they mean "immediate or contributing"?? what exactly is the 300,000 number?

"they probably would not " is taking a swag. There is no "probably would not" on the death certificate so I am wondering how the 300k number is getting calculated.

.

Because the Biden administration worked so hard this year to produce that vaccine in record time???

And anything negative about Hunter Biden's laptop data is "Russian disinformation"

And Biden would win by a landslide -- an election that would not even be close
And this is the most pure clean well proven election result in history

And Flynn violated the Logan act instead of being caught up in a Hillary Clinton dissinformation initiative known to the FBI all along.

And Russian "tweets" influenced the 2016 election .. but other than that nothing else of substance has been found to in anyway indicate a problem with elections.

Two totally irrelevant posts on whatever COVID situation is largely over by next Christmas or not.

If you want to move goal posts to how hard and successfully Trump administration worked with COVID we can certainly start that thread.

It will be pretty morbid reading though and word golf will be around frequently.

When did he say that COvid would end by a certain date. He said that at the end of next year he believes, not know but believes, that things would be close to normal. Considering that's a solid year after a vaccine started being distributed, that's a fair guess to make, as opposed to saying a new virus we knew almost nothing about would just miraculously disappeared when the weather changed.

In fairness, Biden did not say he knows. He said he believes. Believing in something is not the same thing as knowing something is true, hislegacy. You're splitting hairs in an attempt to discredit him.

The President did not say he knew covid would be gone by summer. That was the democratic media's interpretation. Over and over ad nauseum.

No hairs split whatsoever - just using the measure regardless of who the President is.

Then why not look at the total deaths and compare them with previous years? How much have total deaths risen in 2020?

Agreed that is the way to measure it -- take total deaths from disease and accident and add them up, then compare the average rise per year from 2010 to 2019 as compared to 2020

The usual nothing ?

You could send this to the Trump team and they could make another court case out of it since it has the same amount of content they seem to have.

Just total deaths period - did you look it up? Hint: total deaths are astronomically higher than usual.

Where is the lie? He was asked his opinion and he gave it. No lie there.
