Is the Tea Party and Republicans two different parties? This is part of the issue of having a two party system in the US, the two parties end up with a number of coalitions, each with their own priorities as to what is most important and differing agendas.

There are different ideological factions within each of the two major parties. That is true.

That said, a political action committee (a PAC) is neither a faction nor a party in itself. They are organizations with specific interests in politics and look to promote candidates that align with their stated interests. Not all that surprising that they would also then put down the candidates that don't align with their specific interests.

It is for the modern Democratic party which is focused on matters of diversity in race/religion. To vote in a old, rich, white man for a lot of Democrats is a big problem.

To me it's only a problem that it's Joe Biden whom I find immensely creepy.
