Job fair kicks off for migrants facing long wait times in Tijuana
TIJUANA, Mexico — Government and business leaders kicked off on Monday a monthlong job fair to help stranded migrants who traveled here in a caravan and possibly get them to stay in Mexico rather than pursue asylum claims in the United States.
The Baja California state government said thousands of jobs are up for grabs around the country, mostly in the manufacturing industry along the U.S.-Mexico border.
rapidly deteriorating shelter and conditions could worsen further as (thousands more) migrants continue traveling northbound toward this border city.
+++++++++++++++++++++++++
Did we catch that message from Mexico?
Thousands more heading north.
