Trump has undermined the Constitution, attacking the separation of powers as well as checks and balances.

Good RESIST Media narrative - but not reality - As evidenced by the Administrations use of the courts and the simple fact of the Impeachment fiasco still going on.

Trump's tax polices has favored the rich.

Good RESIST Media narrative - but not reality - that is completely dismantled by the simple realities that the middle class has received a decrease in taxes, and a pay increase larger than during the Obama regime

The economy will continue doing well as long as Trump does not interfere with the Obama Recovery.

Good RESIST Media narrative - but not reality - Trump effectively dismantled the rules and regulations the "Obama Recovery" put in place. That dismantling of the "Obama Recovery" is what resulted in the "Magic wand" that created 400,000 new manufacturing jobs and overall 7,000,000 new jobs in less than 3 years.

Trump has created an immigrant disaster on our southern borders, undermining strong borders.

Good RESIST Media narrative - but not reality - The RESIST completely ignores the fact that the 'cages' shown were built and used by Obama - second - since the new rules and enforcement along with the WALL being built, illegal crossings have dropped, and getting the Mexican government to help has been a great aid in the reduction.

Trump has weakened our military.

Good RESIST Media narrative - but not reality - The Trump Administration has rebuilt supply, machinery and more importantly, IMHO, removed the Obama regime ROE's that endangered our men and woman. Remember for six years of Obama ISIS grew and captured territory - that ended in less than 2 years under Trump.

Trump has engaged in trade wars to the detriment of our economy and our citizens' purchasing power.

Good RESIST Media narrative - but not reality -Consumer confidence is at a 20+ year high Purchasing power is greater because the average American pays less taxes and has a higher income, and 7,000,000 more are employed.

Trump's servility to Putin and hatred for our traditional allies have emboldened our enemies.

Good RESIST Media narrative - but not reality - the Trump/Putin error has been debunked continuously over the last three years -

He will be smashed in the next election.

Time will tell

Farm bankruptcies jump to highest level since 2011 as Trump’s tariffs bite

A tit-for-tat tariff dispute between the Trump administration and China has piled on pressure in an already strained Farm Belt, leaving an increasing number of growers unable to stay afloat.

Farmers filed 580 Chapter 12 bankruptcy filings between January and September, according to the American Farm Bureau Federation, the largest farm advocacy group in the country. That was a 24% increase from the previous year and the highest level since 2011, when there were 676 filings.
Might want to check in and make sure these talking points are up to date.

The fantasy narrative of the Trump side becomes wild as the President's men resist courts and try to break Constitutional checks and procedures.

With Nunes now caught in the net of Trump misdoing, the struggling of the administration becomes more apparent.

The middle class has paid 4% higher in taxes because of Trump's generosity to the rich.

Trump never struck down any Obama Recovery rules and regulations. He only said he did. Trump still has not created as many jobs as Obama in the same time period, and manufacturing jobs overall continue decrease overwhelming the few jobs that were created by Trump

The Trump resisters completely ignore that the mess on the border was created by Trump policies, not those of Obama. The Mexican government has given almost no help.

The Trump resisters imply make statements but cannot offer sources to show that the administration has done nothing to help our military. The new regime ROE's further endanger our warriors, as does the abandonment of our allies in the ME and Europe. Remember that Obama's admin was defeating ISIS, but since Trump came to office ISIS is now rebuilding and rebranding itself in the ME.

Consumer confidence has fallen significantly since purchasing power is shrinking along our middles classes, who are having to pay higher taxes and prices to support Trump's trade wars. Trump has not met the job increases in its first three years as did the Obama administration.

The Trump/Putin friendship continues more strongly as it continues to threaten America's prosperity.

might want to check and make sure you are speaking of the same thing when your attempt a rebuttal

I am speaking of the 50 year low unemployment rate

https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/05/03/us-economy-added-jobs-april-unemployment-fell-percent-lowest-since/?outputType=amp

U.S. unemployment fell to 3.6 percent, lowest since 1969

You are speaking of one specific sector

like saying Walmart’s income is at a historic high and you rebut it by saying toothbrush sales are down.

apples to apples.

Please be more specific to the actual facts you are attempting to refute and we can have a conversation

The middle class has paid 4% higher in taxes because of Trump's generosity to the rich.

Middle Class Families are Seeing Strong Tax Reduction

  • A family of four with annual income of $73,000 (median family income) will see a tax cut of more than $2,058, a 58 percent reduction in federal taxes.
  • A single parent with one child with annual income of $41,000 will see a tax cut of $1,304, a 73 percent reduction in federal taxes.
  • 91 percent of taxpayers with annual income between $64,000 and $108,000 saw an average federal tax cut of $1,400 in 2018, according to the left of center Institute for Taxation and Economic Policy.
    • Similarly, 90 percent of taxpayers with annual income of between $40,000 and $64,000 saw an average federal tax cut of $810, while 87 percent of taxpayers with annual income between $108,000 and $232,000 saw an average federal tax cut of $2,710.
  • The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act doubled the standard deduction for an individual from $6,000 to $12,000 and for a family from $12,000 to $24,000. 105 million Americans took the standard deduction in 2015 according to the IRS statistics of income (SOI) database.
  • The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act doubled the child tax credit from $1,000 to $2,000 per child, benefiting 22 million families that took the Credit.
  • The Tax Cuts and Jobs Act raised the threshold of the Alternative Minimum Tax so fewer taxpayers are forced to comply with the provision. 4,464,430 families and individuals paid the Alternative Minimum Tax in 2015.

You are talking about a very small class of taxpayers, the exception proving my point.

You are speaking of the results of the Obama Recovery, that even Trump can't mess up (so far).

You brought up manufacturing, and I blew that argument apart.

That will always be the case with you. You cannot defend Trump adequately. He makes it impossible, and when defenders cross the line, I call them out.

Legacy, the impeachment inqury is the ultimate proof Republicans do not uphold the Constitution. Trump (a Republican) is being investigated for violating that specific document. When every single Republican in the House of Represeentatives thinks he should not be impeached for what the Constitution itself states is an impeachable crime, they totally oppose it. The only voters who don't know Trump bribed Zelensky are those who stick their heads in the sand.

Legacy does not quit repeating himself, though he is disproven everytime. ChristianforCats has told him God's truth above in #72, yet he will still deny it.

I have yet to see anything beyond innuendo and hearsay.

got anything to support the RESIST narrative?

please, you are making me blush with embarrassment, this thread isn’t about me.

It’s so adorable when the left runs out of talking points that they have to make things personal to the poster.

Youse guys on the Trump right sound like,

"Joe Biden has done horrible things, and I have proof.

But instead of producing said proof, I went all over the world strong arming foreign governments to get them to produce exactly the same kind of evidence that I have had locked up in my safe all along.

But I want to tell you all that I actually do have evidence against Joe Biden that will be released if he has me killed.

And also, I have a light saber in my briefcase, and my cat knows Kung-fu, so don't effing mess with me, Sleepy Joe."

These are not reality - these are claims by the TCJA's proponents ahead of the 2018 tax season. Notice the language in the statements ("will see") and the dates on the articles (2018). In reality, most people did see a slight reduction of 1-2% in their tax burden, but nothing so significant as what was promised.

Overall, the TCJA has had little to no effect on the economy at the cost of a massive increase in the deficit (estimated at $1.3 trillion by 2026).

In other words, people got a few crumbs in 2018 in exchange for a mortgage on our country's future. For those of us who will still be contributing members of society ten years down the road, that doesn't seem like an equitable trade.
