Keeping the “daily” sacrifice = ALWAYS (daily) bearing about in our body the dying of the Lord Jesus. We are to “walk” (a continuous activity) in love always as Christ also had loved us and had given Himself for us as an offering and a sacrifice to God. We are to place great importance on His sacrifice for us and remember to always have love for one another as He loved us and gave Himself for us.
Ephesians 5:1-2 KJV
(1) Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;
(2) And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.
Even when our enemies persecute us, we are to walk in love. We participate in His death by dying to sin. We are to die to sin daily….dying to evil speaking…and not return evil for their evil. Bless and do not curse those who will speak evil of us. We love those who love us (morning sacrifice) and also love those who hate us (evening sacrifice) as those who will hate us are walking in "darkness".
