Yet, in death, the pentalty [wages for sin] is paid:

Isaiah 22:14 KJB - And it was revealed in mine ears by the LORD of hosts, Surely this iniquity shall not be purged from you till ye die, saith the Lord GOD of hosts.

Jesus also has man's characteristics. What He's afraid of is not the crucifixion itself. Do you know why God has never left His true name to humans. And why the blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is an unforgivable sin?

    Matthew 12:32 (NIV2011)
Anyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but anyone who speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the age to come.

One of the possible ways to harm God is to deliver Him insults. Jesus receives insult since day 1 of His birth till the end to humanity (it could be thousands of years). Humans today are insulting Jesus all the times. I bet that He's insulted even by this very thread opened by a human like you.

You can't put insult to the Holy Spirit, not even a single word. Now just count how many insulting words from humans have been made since day 1 of Jesus birth till now and to the future till humanity ends. There are unlimited number of insults.

Matthew 12:32 by no means says that the name of God the Son is less important than that of the Holy Spirit. Their names are of the same importance. However the unlimited number of insults to Jesus is the way how He is harmed (and lasting for thousands of years) till the end in exchange for the freedom of human souls. This is part of atonement of sin.

    Revelation 3:12 (NIV2011)
The one who is victorious I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will they leave it. I will write on them the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on them my new name.

He will finally leave all the insults behind by using a new name only made known to the saved.

As for the shout of why God forsake Him. To me, this is a crucial message left in the Bible as the only reference about the description of a true human death. It means, especially when you are a religious person, you will have the same feeling at the moment of your own death. Being forsaken is a strong feeling during such a process we call death! What is said stands a witness.

    1) It's a quote from Psalm 22.

    2) Crucifixion sucks.

    3) The Father and the Son are the same God, because the Son is of the same Being as the Father; but two distinct Persons.
