A Jesuit school, St Ignatius College, has endorsed same-sex marriage in messages to parents, staff and students, directly rebuking recent statements from Church leaders. They believe most young people support same sex marriage, but that can't be a valid reason.

In September, there will be a referendum on same sex marriage in Australia.

Anybody is welcome to protest by writing to them:
Fr Chris Middleton, Rector
stignatius@riverview.nsw.edu.au
What part of 'Ex Cordae Ecclesiae' does that fine Jesuit college not understand? If they refuse to be Catholic, the bishop of the diocese they are located in should cut them off. Does that bishop have a spine? Many bishops do not. So sad.

Some people think that it won't affect Christians, but it does affect everyone, as Prime Minister Turnbull says.

Fr Chris Middleton, and all those Catholics who are endorsing SSM, how are you going to give an account for this at the last judgment?
Don't be silly. The snakes do not care about or fear the last judgement. Their father is the Devil.

Luke 18:8
"when the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on earth?”
Jesus foretold that when he returns the world would be as it was in the time of Sodom (widespread homosexuality) and as it was in the time of Noah (widespread violence). And that describes today's world.

"Now I desire to remind you, though you were once for all fully informed, that he who saved a people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. And the angels that did not keep their own position but left their proper dwelling have been kept by him in eternal chains in the nether gloom until the judgment of the great day; just as Sodom and Gomor′rah and the surrounding cities, which likewise acted immorally and indulged in unnatural lust, serve as an example by undergoing a punishment of eternal fire. - Jude 5-7

Why do many people in high positions, even those in Christian organisations, hold progressive views (inclusion, tolerance etc) ?

I think it's because of the university courses they attended. Those Frxxxx put their wrong ideas into most of the humanity subjects, not only that, they gave them a nice package -- LOVE. So if any student is a Christian, the more chance he/she falls into the trap.

Because of such wrong progressive ideas, communists, terrorists and others who aim to subvert our society have successfully penetrated into our society. It is madness to welcome those who aim to destroy our society.

The Jesuit decline is a serious one indeed. In a different thread I read yesterday it was revealed that the pope went to psychoanalysis at some point.
Psychoanalysis?!

Those who don't see the need of a serious reform are either blind or double agents working to undermine the faith.

Also, I have been worried about this and that other worrying thing that is, Evolution as in a Creationist point of view you can do what ever you want in Evolution. We are but evolved animals instead of purely God-gifted sacred beings and in turn, we have to act like animals just to satisfy our desires and that includes homosexuality. Like if only the Church went on to beat Evolution using rational and spiritual scientists and apologetics to explain the reality of our world, then this would've been far less of power. And worse, why won't we rebuke publicly a leader who went astray from the sound traditional teachings? If clearly the pastor has gone off-course or has sinned then rebuke him well but if he did what the ancients have been doing in tuned to the will of the Father, then we would not have these progressive thinkers winning and twisting the truth to their liking and thus giving intolerance to those that oppose them. I mean, if only the just stood for the just then our community would've been like a still flowing river of positive progression in line with the Holy One's will. Sadly, we failed to do so and thus the animals (figuratively) are running the markets for their own selfishness.

I believe that the world and the state of the Church on earth recently has gotten so bad that it will take no less than the glorious Second Coming of Jesus Christ to fix it. However, until that day comes, we should still be praying and trying to bring the world back to Jesus Christ.

Supporters of same sex marriage in Australia are trying to get a doctor deregistered because she spoke out against same sex marriage. This gives you a foretaste of what is to come if same sex marriage were legalized - persecutions and bullying, of course.

Supporters of the Yes campaign for same-sex marriage have launched a bid to deregister a doctor who appeared in the first television advertisement for the No case in a move that threatens other practitioners.

Since appearing as one of three mothers in the Marriage Coalition advertisement, Pansy Lai, a GP in northern Sydney, has been subject to a petition organised by GetUp! seeking her deregistration and has been inundated with phone and social media threats. Dr Lai told The Australian last night she had reported to police one threat that she would be shot “this week”.

She also said her supporters in the Australian-Chinese community were “very alarmed and concerned that someone is trying to destroy my livelihood just because I spoke up for family values”.

The petition, backed by GetUp!, calls on the Australian Medical Association, led by Michael Gannon, and the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority to deregister Dr Lai for a breach of medical ethics and the Geneva Conventions through “her participation in the recent No campaign”.

The use of a petition to lodge a complaint with medical authorities for endorsing the No campaign opens the way for any doctor who speaks in support of the No campaign to be subjected to the same threat.

Balderdash folks. Complete balderdash. Austalian Jesuit Frank Brennan's culpability for endorsing "same sex marriage" might be mitigated if Brennan is speaking out of that Catholic, benign contempt for "civil marriage" that comes from Rome's maintaining the requirement of 'canonical form for marriage' long after canonical form has ceased to serve important social or ecclesiastical goods.

The Catholic Church recognizes most of the world’s ‘civil marriages’
