You mean when he said:

"She’s a radical war hawk. Let’s put her with a rifle standing there, with nine barrels shooting at her, OK? Let’s see how she feels about it — you know, when the guns are trained on her face. You know, they're all war hawks when they're sitting in Washington in a nice building, saying, 'Oh, gee, well, let's send, let's send 10,000 troops right into the mouth of the enemy.'"

The argument he was making is that people he considers "radical war hawks" like Cheney are sending out people to fight the enemy and stand there with a rifle with nine barrels shooting at them while the people ordering them don't have to face any of that. This is the kind of talking point I'm sure plenty of anti-war liberals have made against her, albeit perhaps not in such colorful terms.

Trump's statement then got taken out of context and media outlets tried to claim he was advocating some kind of firing squad scenario for Liz Cheney and was threatening her.

And indeed, it makes the point that misrepresentations like this probably play a role in why people just shrug it off when people point to things Trump says that are actually troubling; due to all the prior misrepresentations, they just assume the media is making stiff up again:

I think Kamala is the better choice of the two, yes. And as far as the rape acccusation goes, I don’t know enough about a rape accusation to comment, but E. Jean Carroll was sexually abused by Trump. That’s a fact. Just the way he talks “grab them by the ————-” should tell you all there is to know about that pitiful man.

Now one more day and the election is done, though we may have to wait for the results. That probably won’t stop Trump though…he announced a victory in the 2020 election that he lost, even before all the votes were counted.
