  6. We are no longer allowing posts or threads that deny the existence of Covid-19. Members have lost loved ones to this virus and are grieving. As a Christian site, we do not need to add to the pain of the loss by allowing posts that deny the existence of the virus that killed their loved one. Future post denying the Covid-19 existence, calling it a hoax, will be addressed via the warning system.

James 1:5 But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. 6 But he must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. 7 For that man ought not to expect that he will receive anything from the Lord, 8 being a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

Matthew 7:7 “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. 8 For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.9 Or what man is there among you who, when his son asks for a loaf, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, he will not give him a snake, will he? 11 If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father who is in heaven give what is good to those who ask Him!

12 “In everything, therefore, treat people the same way you want them to treat you, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Upon reading these scriptures what are some of the things that stand out to you?

It is wonderful to know that if anyone lacks wisdom they can freely ask God, and they will be given it because God gives to all men liberally, generously, and doesn't reproach. Though it is said we must ask in faith and not doubt but believe and have trust in God.

You can see in Matthew 7 Jesus Christ talking to his disciples about asking and it will be given to you, seek and you will find, knock and it will be opened for you.

What are some of the good things God will give us if we ask Him? Wisdom is one; are there any others one could think off?
We teamed up with Faith Counseling. Can they help you today?

Anything that you can be sure He wants you to have...

Take for example the 7 aspects of the Holy Spirit in Isaiah 11.

These all Born again believers should have regardless of gifts or talents as these express God's character within you.

Interesting Carl; As long as it is according to the right motives and not wrong motives I would have to agree with you for the most part of receiving things like, patience, increasing ones faith, joy, peace, mercy, forgiveness, perseverance through suffering.
