I don't blame anyone for protesting and wanting to fight for justice, but couldn't you have waited *just a little* before crowning this guy as a saint? He's a scumbag. Rosa Parks he is not.

Some of this was partly known before too. IT WAS THE WOMAN who called the cops in the first place. And she ALREADY had a previous restraining order against him for sexually assaulting her.

It is his skin color, no one would care if he was White, Latino, Asian, etc. As Cadence Owens has said the black community is the only community that holds up the lowest people, they don't like the ones that do great.

No, he's not a saint, and while I'm sure there are those who have tried to paint him as one, they're not in the majority. But even scumbags deserve due process. We should fight for the rights of ALL.

Dylan Roof walked into a church and killed nine people. I'm pretty sure he's far more of a scumbag than Jacob Blake. And yet the police managed to not shoot him even once. In fact, they escorted him out of the house he was hiding in wearing a bulletproof vest to protect him from potential vigilantes. As they should.

Cops were moving kinda slowly for a bunch trying to take down a knife-wielding kidnapper. If that was truly the justification (I doubt it was) and it took them a month to come out with it, that’s just one more way in which the cops bungled this.

The question is not (and has never been) whether the shooting victim is a saint, but whether the shooting was legally justified.
