Yay so polio is due a return!
I don't know why you seem to be cheering that on; but at least the next time we are faced with an epidemic, I applaud having a gatekeeper between safe medicine, and the pockets of Big Pharma.

I'm actually surprised by the results of election. I anticipated Trump to win based on his campaign execution and the some what lack of it from his opponent. However want I didn't anticipate is the margin of victory. It was a landslide in not only the electoral sits but also the popular vote. On top of a Republican majority in the senate and number of governors. What is left is the House which Red team is in the lead. This might be a clean sweep. I personally predicted Trump to win the sits, lose the popularity by small margin of 500K and lose the senate by 52-51 to 48-49.

I guess the polls are more than dead wrong and the betting sites are the real deal. The difference is one side has nothing to lose being wrong the other literally put money where their mouths are.

NATO should have accepted Russia's pleas to join them. I don't understand why NATO keeps pushing Russia away. Do the NAZIs still hold that much power?\

Hopefully Trump will return us to reasonable dialogue, and put an end to the senseless bloodshed.

At the very least I pray that he can change the course for WWIII, that the current administration has set us on.
I believe that NATO was formed to combat the Soviet Union. So allowing Russia into NATO would be very counter productive.

I pray that the Democrats will learn from this and unite with the new leadership to make America great again.
This would be ideal . We can all pray eyes will be opened.

Sigh... I'm disappointed with my country.
I promise, EVERYTHING will be ok.

If this helps:

The serenity prayer:

"God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.

Amen."

Where did I say that it wasn't? The fact that things will probably work out in the end doesn't change the reality that the majority of Americans thought that Donald Trump was the best option for President, which I find highly disappointing.

Just FYI, the whole "everything will be okay!" schtick comes off as really patronizing, especially considering your guy won.

My apologies. I didn't mean to come off that way. Also, I don't consider Trump "my guy," I still have serious issues with him.

If the outcome is to be well no matter what, then what does it matter how we choose, or believe? Not just politically, but in every arena?

I don't know. I only posted that for encouragement. Apparently, it backfired. My mistake, and my apologies.

Take care

Yeah, a mystery. Life itself is a mystery. I really don't have an answer if everything will be TRULY ok in the next four years. I cannot tell the future.

Take care.
