It is a great illusion to believe that we can judge another’s worth
God is merciful because He sees all, we only see the surface of our souls, and even less with others. Judgement of the worth of another human being is not an option. It is a great illusion to believe that we can judge another’s worth. It is also soul-death to remain in that state. “For if we cannot love those whom we see, how can we love God whom we do not see? (1 John 19-21) Hatred for another, flows from self-hatred, so how we relate to others is an indication of our own soul’s inner life. It is a good start, when we come to the realization that hatred may actually be dwelling within our souls. In that grace filled revelation, is the beginning of our deepest conversion.-Br.MD
