Many have been to many assemblies , with different theology , like I went too.

We say that we are believers and feel safe .

And Col 3:24 says that from the Lord you will receive the REWARD OF THE INHERITENCE , for you serve the Lord Jesus .

But the next verse , 25 , reads But the one doing wrong will receive what he di WRONG and there is no Partiality .

#1 But what happens in 1 Cor 3:14 , if anyone works which anyone has built up remains , all will receive a reward

#2 And all will go through the FIRE and if you have built on your foundation with HAY , WOOD or STUBBLE , all will suffer LOSS , and all will saved , through that JUDGMENT .

#3 , But f anyone CORRUPTS the INNER SANCTUARY , or MAR the SANCTUARY , Christ will then MAR your reward .

#4 And in Col 3:23 we have to do work from out of the SOUL , as to the Lord and not to men .

#5 Verse 24 we know that from the Lord will receive the REWARD of the Inheritance , for we serve the Lord Jesus .

#6 Col 3:25 is the harder part , But the one doing wrong will receive BACK for what he did WRONG and there no partiality .

#7 We will receive CROWNS , 2 Tim 4:8 ,

#8 In 1 Cor 3:6 Paul has PLANTED , what was it that Paul PLANTED , Rom 16:25 and 26 is what Paul was given to plant, so does this make sense ?

We all have to be careful not to MAR the message .

What say you ?

The purpose of God is the building up of His church which is a temple.
It is a holy temple. It is a temple of the Holy Spirit.
And it can only be built by the Triune God dispensing His life and nature into man.

If we attempt to build the church with the fallen nature it defiles and mars the temple.
Discipline awaits those who "destroy" the holy nature of the church by maring it with the wrong building material.
Such discipline is not eternal but temporary during the millennial kingdom.

Such building with the dispensing of the work of the Triune God will be rewarded in addition to the builder being saved.
Such attempts to build with the inferior substances of the fallen nature will be punished, yet the disciplined one is still saved.

If you can receive it the gold stands for the divine nature of the Father.
The silver stands for the redemptive work of the Son.
The precious stones stand for the transformation work of the Spirit.

The wood, grass, stubble are the characteristics of the fallen man.
They exist in great abundance. But they will not be able to pass through the firey examination of Christ.
That which was wrought into our being by the Father, the Son, the Holy Spirit is suitable for His habitation.
And building His church with the operation of the Triune God will merit reward in the millennium.
Failure to receive the working of the Triune God may cause the saved one to suffer loss though he is still saved eternally.

Eventually no saved person can perpetually put off the working of the Triune God into their being.
We may be on time or we may be late. But we all will arrive.

The exhortation of First Corinthains 3 is especially aimed at those in the church who were fleshly / carnal.
"And I brothers, was not able to speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to fleshy, as to infants in Christ." (3:1)
The "fleshy" here are not unbelievers. The "fleshy" are believers because they are "infants in Christ".

It is a mistake to think "spiritual" here are the saved and the "fleshy" are the unsaved.
Instead Paul means mature Christians and immature Christians.
Paul mean those grown to be able to take in the more solid "meat" of his teaching.
He hopes to help those who are yet unable to because they can only receive the "milk" of simpler things.

"I gave you milk to drink, not solid food, for you were not yet able to receive it., But neither yet now are you able." (v.2)

The indication of the immaturity of some of the Corinthian Christians was their strife, arguments, and divisions spoken to in previous verses.
A sign of them only being able to take milk and not more solid food was their tendency to champian one worker over another.

"For you are still fleshly. For if there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not fleshly and do you not walk according to the manner
of man? For when someone says, I am of Paul, and another, I of Apollos, are you not men of flesh?" (v.3,4)

Their preferences for exalting one Christian worker above another was immature, divisive, fleshly, natural minded.
Paul was trying to rescue them from this "proto" denominational behavior which was maring the oneness of the church in that locality.

Paul goes on to help them to see the building of the church is absolutely a matter of Christ GROWING in them.
It is not just the encrease of knowledge. It is the growth of the Person of Christ within them.

The apostles plant Christ with the gospel preaching.
The apostles water the plant that was planted.
The growth is only due to God.
And as the life of Christ grow within them the church is BUILT.

In fact it is an organice growing building of life.
The church in Corinth was God's farm [or cultivated land] and God's building.
For Christ to grow in them was for the church to be built up.

"I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused the growth. So the neither is he who plants anything nor he who waters, but God who causes the growth. . . . For we are God's fellows workers; you are God's cultivated land, God's building." (vs.7,9)

We all are platning and watering in the Christian life.
We all are to be buikders. And each one (not just the apostles) will be examined as to HOW and with WHAT materials we built up one another in His church. The best environment in which to do this is where there is the local oneness.

But each one is a grower / builder.
"Now he who plants and he who waters are one, but each will receive his own reward according to his own labor." (v.8)

There is no reason to think he means only the apostles because "if anyone" means any Christian. (v.17,18)
And we all must stand before the judgment seat of Christ.
"If anyone" in verse 14 and 15 must mean ALL believers in Christ.

"If anyone's work which he has built upon the foundation remains, he will receive a reward.
If anyone's work is consumed, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire." (vs. 14,15)

When looking reading 1 Cor 3:10-15 is speaking to all that are saved and in the B O C .

It is we , the B O C that are building on the foundation , verse 12 an verse 13 says our WORKS will go through the FIRE and that fire will test our works of what sort it is ,
