Ah! So you support attacking your political rivals and don't prioritize free speech. Just as I said.

So's law isn't going to work here.
I support a sovereign nation setting and enforcing its own rules, just as I said.

Israel can do whatever it likes. That's not the point.

Including keeping people out who want to go there to protest against the country.
Understand that what I was talking about was with a different member.

Perhaps, this is a bit extreme. I think that a country should be able to exclude anyone they want from entering their countries. For example, China should be free to exclude anyone from the US, without special permission. Sovereignty is sovereignty. Note that actions against US citizens within China are another matter entirely. I do NOT have a right to travel wherever in the world I wish. We do NOT have a world government, with a world set of rules. Neither does a US congressperson.

Obviously, this isn't directly to the instant case, where the exception was approved.

That's the part we don't hear much about on the news. They keep saying they were denied entry. I guess that's what we're meant to focus on.

And yet you keep misrepresenting others reasons.

Do you support sovereign countries punishing another countries leaders political rivals? Last I heard there were no rules keeping US government officials out of Israel.

Irrelevant. The denial had nothing to do with keeping US govt. officials out of Israel. It had to do with going there to protest against the country.

According to whom?

News reports.

"Israel last week blocked the two Democratic House members from a planned trip to that country over their support for a Palestinian-led boycott movement.

Soon thereafter, however, Tlaib was granted the opportunity to visit her grandmother on a “humanitarian” visa but then announced she was staying in the U.S. because of Israel’s “oppressive” restriction.

What restriction? Not to advocate for the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) movement."

The Mainstream Media then. Use Google, find any one of the related articles and take your pick. There's plenty of them to choose from.

EDIT: Or how about the actual letter written by the congress lady herself as posted by hislegacy in post #112?

The title of the thread is inaccurate because after receiving this letter. Israel quickly granted her request on the grounds of humanitarian needs.

It was the good congresswoman who then backed out.

Under what imposed conditions?

Under what imposed conditions?

Read her letter. Her own words said she wouldn’t promote any boycotts.

She offered, they said yes, she backed out.

It'll have to do.

The letter states nothing about the reason she was denied entry.

Nor does it state the real reason she wanted to go there. Therefore, it was a deception. The fact that she backed out is further proof of that.

My but your sure are quick to assume you know others motivation and presume it is negative.

It certainly wasn't positive. See for yourself:
