Jesus Returns In fire and judgment, as the "New Heaven And Earth" are revealed, as the "Eternal Lake Of Fire" is present in the eternal kingdom.

Verses 15-16 The Lord returns in fire judgment 2 Peter 3:10-13

Verses 19-21 Those righteous saved left of the nations.

Verse 22 The New Heaven And Earth revealed, 2 Peter 3:10-13

Verse 24 The eternal lake of fire present.

    Isaiah 66:15-24KJV
15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the Lordplead with all flesh: and the slain of theLord shall be many.
17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith the Lord.
18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the Lord out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith theLord, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the Lord.
21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the Lord.
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

    2 Peter 3:10-13KJV
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

The Lords Day of wrath is not the same as His Return in glory.
2 Peter 3:10-13 is a sequence of events, not all the same one. Our future promise is the NH,NE.

The terrible Day of the Lord's vengeance and wrath will be a Day that He sends fire upon His enemies. Psalms 11:4-6, Amos1, + He is not seen on that Day. Habakkuk 3:4, Psalms 18:11
It will be the Sixth Seal worldwide disaster, that will set the scene for all that is prophesied to happen before Jesus returns.

Your claim there are "Two Future Events" of Jesus Christ returning in fire would be false.

You resort to duplicity of events to make your system in millennialism work.

    "ALL THE SAME EVENT BELOW"

    Isaiah 66:15-16KJV
15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.
30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

    Malachi 3:2KJV
2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:

    Zechariah 14:12KJV
12 And this shall be the plague wherewith the Lord will smite all the people that have fought against Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall consume away in their holes, and their tongue shall consume away in their mouth.

    1 Corinthians 3:13KJV
13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

    2 Timothy 4:1KJV
    I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

    Revelation 21:1-2KJV
21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

As scripture "Clearly Teaches" this existing Heaven and Earth will be dissolved by the Lord's fire in final judgment at his appearing/return.

We have two clear prophesies about the Great Day of the Sovereign Lord, Revelation 16:14, when Jesus Returns in glory; Zechariah 14:3-5 and Revelation 19:11-21
They do not relate to the terrible Day of the Lord's wrath, when He destroys His enemies by fire from the sun. At His Return, Jesus merely wipes out the attacking armies by the Sword of His Word.

Does Amos 5:18-20 seem like what happens at the Return? I don't think so!

No; there will be a Day, a literal day, that the Lord will come in fire, [actually send fire, Amos1, Psalms 11:4-6] BEFORE His Return. That Day will change the world, isn't it obvious that the world will be a very different place then, to what it is now?

The Parable of ten virgins clearly indicates that Jesus will fetch His bride at the unknown hour.
13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour in which the Son of Man is coming.

The world will wail when Jesus appears on the clouds to take the Wise Virgins with oil and then disappear into heaven.
Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him.

But at the 2nd coming of Christ there will be no more virgins awaiting Him but the DEVIL AND KINGS OF THE WORLD WILL KNOW THE DAY as they will be prepared for the ARMAGEDDON BATTLE against Christ.

    Rev 16 13
Then I saw three impure spirits that looked like frogs; they came out of the mouth of the dragon, out of the mouth of the beast and out of the mouth of the false prophet.
14 They are demonic spirits that perform signs, and they go out to the kings of the whole world, to gather them for the battle on the *GREAT DAY of God Almighty. *GREAT DAY = 2ND COMING OF CHRIST
Rev 19:19 Then I saw the beast and the kings of the earth and their armies gathered together to wage war against the rider on the horse and his army.
Rev 19:21 The rest were killed with the sword coming out of the mouth of the rider on the horse, and all the birds gorged themselves on their flesh.

Jesus will return from heaven with His raptured saints after the Feast of the Lamb, to battle at Armageddon.

Rev 19:11 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war.
12 His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself.
13 He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.
14 The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean.

This Army of Jesus are the resurrected early church and the raptured end time wise virgins who will judge the angels and the wicked people.
1 Cor 6:2 Or do you not know that the Lord's people will judge the world? And if you are to judge the world, are you not competent to judge trivial cases?
3 Do you not know that we will judge angels?

JESUS WILL RULE THE NATIONS AFTER ARMAGEDDON BATTLE
Rev 19:15 Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.”

May Jesus bless you all HalleluYAH

Isaiah 66:19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith the LORD.

What do you do with this part then? Just ignore it altogether, such is typical of Amils such as yourself? Why is this part even in Isaiah 66 to begin with? Why is this part mentioned, not before verse 15 and 16, but after? Why does verse 19 mention those that escape of them, He will send unto the nations?

But let me guess though, you would rather not discuss these parts as well since it shows that you are not even taking into account context when you conclude what you do. All you're doing is just finding verses here and there, which you feel supports your claims, while at the same time ignoring any contexts connected to the verses you are submitting.

Isaiah 66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

Apparently many doesn't mean all, and that verse 19 seems to support that when it indicates this---- and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations.

The same nations seen in the eternal kingdom in Revelation 21:22-24 below, are the same that are seen Isaiah 66:19-21

The slain of the Lord will be "Many Not All"?

You are looking at the righteous saved Nations that "Are Not Part Of Many"

Back to the human logic chalk board in denial of the simple truth Dave.

Your earthly millennial kingdom isn't found in the scripture.

    Revelation 21:22-26
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.

You know what, Truth7t7? Your denial of plain scriptures that say there WILL be a Millennium reign on earth of King Jesus, shows your serious bias and places you as a false teacher. Revelation 20:1-7
I abjure you to cease making false and unbiblical statements as above. Remember; that we who teach will face a more strict judgement. James 3:1

Regarding the OP: Jesus does NOT Return in fire. He comes in His glory accompanied by the angelic armies of heaven. Matthew 16:27
The many prophesied Day of fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis, is the Sixth Seal event, the Day the Lord will reset our civilization, that will commence all that must happen before Jesus Returns.

Jesus does not appear/return in fire and judgment?

I guess the several scriptures presented below and in the opinion is a big fairy tale dream.

Many teach in error Jesus returns to earth to start a 1000 year millennial kingdom, with mortal humans present?

Scripture teaches below, Jesus returns in fire and final judgment, dissolving this present earth, as the New Heavens and Earth are revealed.

    "Eternity Begins"!

    "ALL THE SAME EVENT BELOW"

    Isaiah 66:15-16KJV

Isaiah 66:19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.

Assuming the timing here is meaning post the 2nd coming, who post the 2nd coming would the following be referring to then? the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory

Can't be meaning Christians, now can it? What professed Christians would not have already heard His fame prior to the 2nd coming? And on top of that, when Christ returns in glory, what saved Christian could not possibly see His glory at that time, where instead, those that escape of them, they will be sent to these saved Christians so that they too can now hear His fame, and that they too can see His glory? It doesn't make sense if trying to understand the text like that, does it?

Isaiah 66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.

Do you not see in the text above that there are at least 3 different groups involved?

1----and the slain of the LORD shall be many

    2----those that escape of them

3----the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory

There is no such thing as a 1000 year millennial kingdom. Where are you getting that idea from? That implies His kingdom is only temporary when He returns, rather than eternal instead. There is a time period though consisting of a thousand years, it is simply the first thousand years of the new heavens and new earth, though I realize even most Premils disagree with me about that. Even so, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out, that when Christ returns and that the saved then put on bodily immortality, eternity has then begun since they will remain in that same state for forever. Can't do that outside of eternity. Plus, can't have the eternal age without the new heavens and new earth.

The fame and glory is the "New Jerusalem" I believe Dave, as the nations will come to worship and see the Lord's glory in "New Jerusalem".

Dave what you going to do with the New Heaven and Earth, and Lake of Fire Present In This Kingdom as seen below?

    Isaiah 66:22-24KJV
22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.
23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.
24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

Dave what you gonna do with the second coming in fire as seen in Isaiah 66:15-16 below, with the parallel verses showing this to be the "End Of This Physical Earth"?

    "ALL THE SAME EVENT BELOW"

    Isaiah 66:15-16KJV
15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.

13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.

    2 Timothy 4:1KJV
    I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

Well Dave we disagree, no human will survive the fire judgment at the second coming as seen below, as Revelation 20:1-2 clearly teaches, this existing Heaven And Earth have "Passed Away" as the event of 2 Peter 3:10-13 has taken place. The New Heaven And Earth are on the other side of Gods fire in judgment.

    Revelation 21:1KJV
21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

    "ALL THE SAME EVENT BELOW"

    Isaiah 66:15-16KJV
15 For, behold, the Lord will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
16 For by fire and by his sword will the Lord plead with all flesh: and the slain of the Lord shall be many.

    2 Thessalonians 1:7-8KJV
7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

    Luke 17:29-30KJV
