Your posts sound a little concerning even when you take out anything related to yoga.

I think you need to seek the Lord and rest in Him. Are you spending time reading His word, praying? Are you thanking Him and praising Him for all He has done? Are you losing sight of who He is or not yet reached a deeper understanding yet? Are you being lead astray and by what? Sin, yoga, the cares of this world?

I hope you find His peace instead of worldly peace. ♡

I don't feel there's anything religious, at least in ways I'm used to. It does have a deep spiritual aspect to it, I think. Meditation, trying to disassociate with your body and mind, connecting with your true self is profoudly mystical.

I've been doing everything you are asking me about for many, many years. Nothing changes in my soul. If anything, it gets worse. I see no results.

What are the roots..wheres it traced back to? When I read "Hinduism, Buddhism, and Jainis and has a meditative and spiritual core" <---not in just one search. This is also form books and else where. Theres more.God... Do we care what He thinks?

For me.. and this post is just about ME. I would never do it. I find again NOT just one or two ..things like "Another yogic (yoga) power, the ability to project your consciousness into the body of an animal or even another person, is shamanic in nature. "

What did Satan say to Eve and Adam? That was nothing..yet look at the door it opened. Many believers don't believe in the supernatural based on how they feel what they see or hear. When Jesus said what signs shall follow the believer? Do you know what the 1st thing was? "Cast out demons".

The idea that what ever your seeking for answer to "others do it so it must be ok" That for me is very unwise.... for me I will not as the word says.. give ear.. not in days like this. I ask.. seek what my Father says. This is something that gives Him no glory what so ever.. has nothing what so ever of HIM in it or its history. Praise GOD glory to Jesus

They say that Om or Aum produces differend soundwave frequencies which invigorates three different Chakras in your body. If you say anything else or even Aum in the wrong way, it won't work

Thank you for your kindness and understanding. I've been struggling a lot in my life. Still do. My Christian faith did not do anything. I've been a very strong and sincere believer. It just doesn't work. Nothing changed in me fundamentally. Only on the surface. Yoga truly works. I've seen miraculous results, almost like a new birth. If I replace Aum with Jesus, it won't produce the same frequencies and won't affect my Chakras as it should, which is the basic mechanism of how this chant works.

Is it coming naturally? Or are/were you striving to do it? It's just that (and I'm going through a patch where I'm failing a lot, so please do not think I'm criticising or anything like that) when God is at the focus of our lives and not us we thirst for His word, can't help but praise. We are less interested in the world and are fulfilled in Him. We seek to serve Him and others and think less of what we want.. because we are already feel full.

It's hard to type right now because I have a teen stood waiting for my attention. So have to just post this and dash. Sorry.

The "Om" is not just a hum. It is an occultic word thought to be the proper vibration for at tuning the soul the the Astral realm (or the airy realm). It's nothing to mess with. These things are real and if you go to India and witnessed actual pagan Hinduism and the demon possessed gurus tricking people into joining ashrams, then possessing them with demons you wouldn't be so quick to fall into it.

Read "The young man, the guru, and elder paisios". It is the story of a young man torn between Orthodox Christianity and Hinduism and his experiences in both. I would also recommend looking into Orthodox Christianity as it is the only branch of Christianity that kept the original Christian mysticism alive. We have our own prayers that are to be meditated on. I came to it looking much like yourself. You don't need to go outside of Christianity to find real spirituality. You just need to look further into the origins of the faith.

Satan comes as an angel of light and this is one of the ways he cleverly enters your life through deception. The more you practice Eastern philosophy the deeper he will get into your soul. As soon as you start getting visitations at night through sleep paralysis, this will happen to you, remember this thread.
STAY VERY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COURSE OF ACTION. God will also send you delusions because you do not want to know the truth. Receive His Holy Spirit and know your Lord.
    Blessings

PS:I was heavily involved in this in the 80's so I know what I am talking about as well as the energy you are tapping into.

Tried Orthodoxy for a short time a few years ago. Got bitterly disappointed. The priest could not answer any of my questions clearly. Then he was transferred to another city because he was doing some unchristian things... I attended an Orthidox church, volunteered, read Orthodox books and biographies of saints. Amomh things I could never accept are kissing icons, wearing a cross and worshipping body parts of saints.

Brother, you are deceiving your own self. Jesus has said He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad. Matthew 12:30

Listen to the wise counsel of your brothers and sisters above. Especially Maria, who has personal understanding of the new age and occult. This is nothing to mess around with. What you are experiencing is a great deception. This kundalini spirit has even made it's way into churches with incredibly false doctrine. You can see the manifestation of these entities and it all stems from hinduism and eastern mysticism.

Kundalini is not a spirit, it's a type of energy. Such as body temperature or thermal energy isn't a spirit, but a physical reality and part of God's complex creation

Probably you were in the wrong kind of practice. Mine isn't like that at all. It's scientific and it works, unlike my Christian faith that does absolutely nothing to me

Kundalini is a spirit --it's a demonic spirit. You need to get educated about these things you are tampering with.

No. A spirit is a spirit, kundalini is your mystical energy

That would be a theological matter then. Specifically this addresses matters concerning the theological fields of anthropology, soteriology, and hamartiology; our humanity in relation to sin and salvation.

I am naturally biased due to my own theological proclivities; but I don't believe that true spirituality can be found by looking within ourselves. Deep down inside myself isn't a "true self" that I can discover and make use of for my own self-betterment; on the contrary a truly honest look inward shows that I am, at the core of myself, a grave filled with dead bones.

True spirituality, true healing and therapy for the human person isn't found inward, but outward--in the Person of Jesus, and what Jesus Christ has done and accomplished for us. There is life in Christ, and in Christ there is the Spirit who gives me life.

This is, as St. Paul writes in Romans 7, that we find sin in our members, that though with our mind we desire the good, there is in our bodily members a law of sin and death at work. With the mind we know what we ought to do, but we don't do it. And so we need the grace of God, in Jesus Christ our Savior, to give life to these dead bones, to make us alive, to reconcile us to God, to make us children of God and sharers in the life of God. That's what the spiritual life looks like--a life found crucified with Christ, and thus renewed and raised up with Christ, now through faith, and in hope, of that which is to come: the life everlasting and the age which is to come. World without end.

Every kind of spirituality which looks inward rather than outward to Christ has no life in it.

What is it that you desire to see in your life? What do you believe your soul should be like, and what are the results you hope to see?

I ask these questions because, perhaps, this may be something at the heart of the problem itself.
