I doubt there are many evangelicals who think Trump is actually a Christian.

But he is better than Hillary. And he will appoint better SC justices than Hillary. And he won't get us into stupid wars. And he'll try to change perceived unfair trade deals.

Not so much a grab for power as simple political agreement.

He said only the Lord knows the condition of his heart. That's not leaning the other way, is it? Seems to be flat square in the middle region of "I don't know."

Probably not, considering that Trump is said to be in trouble with many Evangelicals because he's not a regular church-goer and doesn't routinely use the catch-phrases that many of them do.

I think those type Evangelicals should look to the sequoia sticking out of their own eye.

I ask myself if Donald Trump really see's himself winning the election. He's older than when he was a calm person , even a gentle man in public speaking situations decades ago. Now he sounds a bit out of sorts and is writing a end of life golden years legacy for himself as one who knows diddly about politics. And yet has the ego that makes him think he can still run a country like he would a business.
And with that history of utilizing the laws to benefit from bankruptcy filings in many of those businesses he's owned that's not really a plus for the next leader of the free world.
