Makes sense considering how divided the republican party is and that he only had reluctant support after the won the primary.

(CNN)Donald Trump may just have achieved another first -- but this isn't one he will like. He may be on the verge of becoming the first president to be considered a "lame duck" within the first two months of his presidency.

If you define a "lame duck" president as someone who lacks the political capital to turn his ideas into policy, you might want to stick a fork in Trump because he's done -- at least for now.

If you bring this up on here or social media, the default responses are
"He's only been in office 20/30/60 days, give him time"
or
"Obama left him with a mess" (the go-to argument for folks who don't know the difference between debt and deficit)

However, they were the same folks who were condescendingly saying "haha how's the hope and change going??? looks like he's not so great after all!" 3 days into Obama's first term, and immediately blamed him for every deficit issue that was already there when he took over.

Apparently "gotta give him time to change things" and "some fiscal problems can be leftovers from the previous guy" are concepts that only exist in their minds if the current president is a republican, and the previous one was a democrat...

Trump has a lot of opposition with in his own party and the true colors of people like John McCain are showing as he is openly a globalist and in Brussels promoting a NWO. The left and right have been two sides of the same coin. Trump is pro life, pro Israel, pro traditional marriage. He has all the witches and warlocks united against him and they are using spells and sorcery openly against him. This alone should make those who oppose him wonder why would you want to be on the side of sorcery. This whole thing is a spiritual battle and Trump is loud and obnoxious and has surely had his share of moral failure along the way. But he is not part of the global one world movement and you can see they are using every means in their power to discredit him and defeat his agenda.

(emphasis mine)Trump is none of those things. Trump is pro Trump and nothing else.

Not sure how promoting an independent investigation into the administration's ties to Russian spies makes him a globalist. Maybe that's something that is more or less acceptable to "real" conservatives depending on the letter next to the name of the President at any given time.

What is striking about DJT is how unpopular he is among members of his own party. And so soon in the game. A fair number of mainstream Republicans truly hate the man's guts. I can't recall any President in my lifetime so disliked by his party so early into his term. Richard Nixon and Jimmy Carter certainly dismayed a lot of people. But the only Democrat I can can think of coming close to arousing such intense, visceral animosity might be LBJ. And that was because of the Viet Nam war.

Obama passed laws and made significant changes during his first 18 months. Trump has made many changes through executive orders and action, the appointment of a Supreme Court justice, and through various actions on the international stage.

It remains to be seen whether Trump passes ANY significant legislation. IMHO, that will be very difficult, at least for the remainder of the year.

You do realize don't you that there is no such thing as real spells and sorcery? They are nothing more than highly ritualized prayer and have about the same effectiveness as all prayer.

Goodness, so much poorly masked excitement and anticipation at the seemingly hopeful prospect of someone's failure.
Goodness, projection!

 McCain's a Baptist.

That's pretty clearly a misspelling of "like" since K and L are next to each other, and the syntax doesn't even read properly otherwise.

*edit* Unless you're making a questionable joke about his typo? :mmh:
