If the earth is flat, how thick is it and what is on the other side?

You think humans evolved from monkeys? It remains true; those who don't accept evolution, rarely know what it is.

Demonstrably true, although there aren't "endless" galaxies, just an incredibly large number of them.

So is they key word insignificant? That would seem counterproductive for the devil who would want us to be self centered. Insignificant is rather humbling. Although we also believe that our significances is not our own but in Christ who loves us and died for us.

This is a good question... However, one man cannot answer. The deepest holes ever drilled were barely a dent in the crust... if there is a "crust".

When Admiral Byrd went down to Antarctica for "Operation High Jump", He was set for many months of research. They found something though. Something so important that they came home and started firing nukes into high altitude... Both the US and Russia did this.

This whole operation was called Dominique (which means "of the Lord") and the Nukes were part of it called Operation Fish Bowl... Get it yet... Operation "Fish bowl of the Lord".

    Kinda neat huh?

Also, about this time, Russia and the US had a contest to see who could dig or drill the deepest hole in the earths crust..

Now that makes it even more interesting, doesn't it?

One curious researcher asked this question.... "Would you not, if you discovered that you were in a container or cage, want to find out 1/ how high it was (nukes) and how deep it was (drilling)?

Shortly after...... NASA was born..... and now you know the rest of the story......

Things that make you go hmmmm.

No, not from what I have heard... the planets are separate entities and created differently than the earth... moon and sun.

The way it goes is this:

Globe = random, insignificant, in the middle of nowhere, drifting aimlessly in a vast void of uncontrolled existence while the sun is the center.

FE = solid, significant, designed, purposeful, center of God's view and watch, not moving, and the focus of everything in the heavens.

Yep... and still to this day... not one experiment has proven that the earth moves or spins... in fact.... on of these experiments set out to prove such a thing failed... and is named as such a failure.

None of that follows. Globe is not random at all but the result of gravitational forces just like every other celestial body, designed by God. Not driving aimlessly but on a prescribed and predictable orbit. I can't t argue vastness. Vast beyond understanding. And the sun is not the center either. Open your mind to our infinite God. Your univers is too small.

    None of that follows?

They say that all the planets and the earth formed from an explosion... and they are not random?

The earth is supposed to orbit the sun.. the sun is moving through space in a galaxy which is also moving through space.... we are traveling billions of miles an hours through a void.... That is not aimless?

My universe is too small? I thought God said that the earth was His footstool?

So, in comparison to a snow globe, sitting on pillars at Gods feet..... Which model is more designed? Which is more random? Which is more planted and which is moving more aimlessly? Which one is more purposeful and which one is more aimless?

So far, no one has been able to offer an explanation for the movement of a Foucault pendulum other than the Earth's rotation.

So far, no one has been able to offer an explanation for the Coriolis effect other than the Earth's rotation.

So far, no one has been able to offer an explanation for the fact that one can launch larger payloads into space when launching eastward close to the equator, other than the Earth's rotation.

So far, no one has been able to offer an explanation as to why a large earthquake very slightly changed the apparent movement of the stars immediately after, other than the Earth's rotation.

So far, no one has been able to offer any explanation as to the observed rotation of the Earth from the moon other than the Earth's rotation.

So far, no one has been able to offer any explanation for the direction of prevailing winds other than the Earth's rotation.

So far, no one has been able to explain the apparently faster-than-light speeds of various astronomical objects, other than the Earth's rotation.

So far, no one has been able to explain the precise timing of the tides other than the Earth's rotation.

So far, no one has been able to explain the changes in the length of day other than by the Earth's rotation.

Which is in accordance with the observable facts?

If you think "God's footstool" can't be millions of light-years across, your view of God is too small.

Not to mention the observed motion of the stars.

Yes, I got that one, plus the sudden slight change in the motion of stars after a very large Earthquake.

Foucault's Pendulum reverses direction during an eclipse... denies it being motivated by a rotation of the earth.

Coriolis effect is never used in military long range shots whether snipers or heavy artillery. They will factor in a large number of factors.... never the "Coriolis" effect. Air liners are never affected by this so called "effect". Even on long trips.

Of course... only NASA would be able to give proof of this...right?

Not proof of a rotation.. just a shift in the luminary movement attributed to a non measurable concept.

Nobody has observed anything "from the moon".... Again... NASA......Seriously?

Direction of wind is based on the direction of the rising of the sun and high pressure verse low pressure... Supposed rotation is a theory based on a concept.

Now.. the speed of astronomical objects is proof of the spin of the earth... Really Barb... your grasping in a lot of these.. Not proof's... theories applied as grasping at straws.

Tides.... rotation... seriously? This is the simply moon and sun... maybe proof of gravity if anything.. not rotation.

A lot of these are simply explained in the FE models.... Not by the globe only.. Not proof of rotation.. just of the moon and sun moving which is obvious.

Check out the FE model... there are many explanations for the "observable facts".
Scientific experiments cannot indicate rotation or motion.

Says you.... right? Just an opinion...right?
