I believe some of it promotes drugs and and it is not wise to listen to some of that music. Some of it, I do like though. I have been listening to a lot of great Christian music, I will post some examples.

I think the ones that are evil, are the ones with messages in them such as "techno is better on drugs" ive heard that one before, but the ones with straight up beats i dont think are evil cause it is pure music and no messages but music, and you can feel whatever you want on it, evil or not

I'm a HUGE Trance fan (which has a lot of music with a lot of emotion). I also love Techno. Honestly, a lot of the techno/trance I listen to doesn't even have lyrics. I guess it all comes down to what effect the Techno or any music for that matter has on your life as a Christian. I think a lot of times as Christians we tend strive to find something wrong with things that don't have a Christian "label" on them. Just because something isn't labeled "Christian" does not necessarily make it bad.

think about that.. does God want us going into some sort of trance?
Especially one filled with music(satans forte) and is very secular in their mindset more than likely?

Are you guys seriously not aware of all the satanic imagry and references to Aliester Crawley and other demonic spirits false gods and idols (aka eye of hours etc etc) in their videos along with HUNDREDS of others??

You guys should really go check out EX ministrries truth behind Hip Hop and other videos showing you whats up with todays music

It depends on the content of the mix. Much in the culture is not good, but that doesn't make the music itself evil.

Exactly. People seem to think just because a genre like dubstep or techno is "for druggies" that its sinful. To me if it contains no lyrics how can it be sinful? Theres no message in a lyricless song. Just emotions. Example I have alot of game soundtracks because the music (no lyrics) brings me feelings of joy, wonder...etc. Which in return reminds me of God. I personally love dubstep now.

To say we shouldn't promote something thats used for bad. IN that case get off your computer since its often used for bad. Don't go to walmart. Don't get gas in your car since its owned by companies that can do lots of evil....etc.
