Did he do it eight times? Once is a mistake. Eight times is by design.

E pluribus buffoonum? Congress slams Obama

    "
The letter also noted that on Oct. 18 during a fundraiser Obama omitted the "Creator" from a reference to the Declaration of Independence.

"Once may be a mistake. But twice is a pattern. These omissions and inaccuracies are a part of a larger pattern we are seeing with the president where he is inaccurately reflecting America and undercutting important parts of our nation's history," said Forbes. "Trust in God is embedded in the fabric of society and history in the United States.
"If we allow these threads to be pulled, we will begin to unravel the very freedoms that birthed America," he said.

It was martial arts champion, actor and WND columnist Chuck Norris who noted Obama actually has omitted "Creator" seven times in just the past few months:
    His research lists the following:

    • On Oct. 21, 2010, at a rally for Sen. Murray in Seattle, Wash.:

"None of us would be here if it weren't for that extraordinary leap of faith that had been taken. Thirteen colonies deciding to start a revolution based on an idea that had never been tried before – a government of and by and for the people. A government based on the simple proposition that all men are created equal. That we're endowed with certain inalienable rights."
    • On Oct. 18, 2010, at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee dinner in Rockville, Md.:

"It has to do with this idea that was started by 13 colonies that decided to throw off the yoke of an empire, and said, 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that each of us are endowed with certain inalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.'"
    • On Oct. 17, 2010 at a reception for Gov. Ted Strickland in Chagrin Fall, Ohio.:

"The idea of America has never been easy. The notion of 13 colonies coming together and overthrowing the greatest empire in the world, and then drafting a document that says, we find these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, endowed with certain inalienable rights – that's hard."
    • On Sept. 22, 2010, at a Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee dinner in New York, N.Y.:

"And what was sustaining us was that sense that – that North Star, that sense that, you know what, if we stay true to our values, if we believe that all people are created equal and everybody is endowed with certain inalienable rights and we're going to make those words live, and we're going to give everybody opportunity, everybody a ladder into the middle class,…"
    • On Sept. 15, 2010, at the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's 33rd annual awards gala in Washington, D.C.:

"But over the centuries, what eventually bound us together – what made us all Americans – was not a matter of blood, it wasn't a matter of birth. It was faith and fidelity to the shared values that we all hold so dear. We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, endowed with certain inalienable rights: life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
    • On Sept. 11, 2010, at the Pentagon Memorial in Arlington, Va.:

"For our cause is just. Our spirit is strong. Our resolve is unwavering. Like generations before us, let us come together today and all days to affirm certain inalienable rights, to affirm life and liberty and the pursuit of happiness."
    • On Sept. 10, 2010, at the president's press conference at the White House:

"With respect to the mosque in New York, I think I've been pretty clear on my position here, and that is, is that this country stands for the proposition that all men and women are created equal; that they have certain inalienable rights – one of those inalienable rights is to practice their religion freely."
When WND's correspondent at the White House, Les Kinsolving, raised the question about the omissions, Press Secretary Robert Gibbs said, "I haven't seen the comments, Lester, but I can assure you the president believes in the Declaration of Independence." "

When asked why the President repeatedly omits the reference to God when he speaks of the Declaration of Independence, Gates said, he "believes in the Declaration of Independence!" LOL

I don't believe Obama messed up the national motto eight times; it was just once in that speech in Jakarta. I think you're referring to Obama's eight omissions of "the creator" in reference to the Declaration, which I agree is ridiculous. He has mentioned God on other occasions, but I've seen Christians on this forum question his faith in God regardless. So if he omits references to God in a speech there's an outcry, and if he references God there's still an outcry because it's just lip service.

It's darned if you do, darned if you don't.

All he has to do is quote the Judeo-Christian references to God written in our founding documents. But he's a liberal who are notorious for being anti-.

    It's by design.

That's all he has to do? Really? So if Obama references God or "the Creator" in our founding documents then you'll suddenly be satisfied? Honestly, I highly doubt that. If Obama had mentioned the Creator during all of his speeches on the Declaration of Independence, I doubt your acceptance of him would be in any way effected. If he spoke of "Almighty God" (which he has), you would still consider him a flaming liberal with Muslim leanings who is pushing America into the NWO system, right? So nothing would really change, would it?

Obama the AntiChrist? I doubt it. Is he a precursor to the AntiChrist? Now THAT'S a distinct possibility.

I can't imagine a lamer AntiChrist than Obama. Shouldn't we be afraid of the AntiChrist, or shouldn't he be somewhat be competent in carrying out an evil conspiracy against the world. Obama is incredibly weak, is nothing more than a puppet, and has no real power of his own. If Obama is the Beast of the Sea, I would have to say the bible way over exaggerated the terror the Beast would wage against humanity.

There are numerous Scripture passages that line up with Obama, the king of the "high places"! Obama's inauguaration was on 1-20-2009
Ezekiel 20:29 (KJV) Then I said unto them, What is the high place whereunto ye go? And the name thereof is called (((Bamah))) unto this day.

No, the church fears nothing but the Lord.

Anyone who is preaching fear of the antichrist needs some Holy Spirit.

Hm...Yes I agree that the church is not to fear the Antichrist because God promises to protect and preserve his church. However, that does not stop the Antichrist from persecuting the church and it is very much his purpose that he is feared.

The church has been enduring persecution for two millenia. There is nothing more that the devil can do to us - we already believe. We've already given our life over to Jesus.

The church is dwelling in heaven when the antichrist is revealed which is why the antichrist blasphemes those who dwell in heaven (Rev 12/13).

The people that the antichrist goes after are "the rest of the woman's offspring" - those who weren't ready but choose to believe after the church is removed. They will be imprisoned and die as martyrs, refusing the mark.

    Revelation 12/13:

10And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. 12Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.

5And there was given unto him a mouth speaking great things and blasphemies; and power was given unto him to continue forty and two months. 6And he opened his mouth in blasphemy against God, to blaspheme his name, and his tabernacle, and them that dwell in heaven.

And do you believe this to be Obama, because while I think the Antichrist is evil I also believe him to be competent. An attribute Obama is very much lacking as President.

Ahh ..., like George Soros competent?

... collapsing banks, currencies and governments.

    Hmm ...

Daniel 8:24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.

God will spiritually protect everyone in the church on the earth during the coming worldwide reign of the Antichrist, no matter what happens to them physically (Romans 8:35-37, Revelation 13:7-10, Revelation 14:12-13, Revelation 20:4, Matthew 24:9-13). And God will also physically protect some in the church still on the earth during that time, for in Revelation 12, the woman's fleeing into and remaining in a protected place in the wilderness for 3.5 years (Revelation 12:6,14) represents those in the church on the earth who will flee into and remain in divinely-protected wilderness places on the earth during the entire time of the Antichrist's 3.5-year worldwide reign (Revelation 13:5).

The remnant of the woman's seed (Revelation 12:17) represents those in the church on the earth during that time who won't flee into divinely-protected wilderness places, but will remain in the cities and be persecuted in every nation, imprisoned, and beheaded by the Antichrist (Revelation 13:7-10, Revelation 14:12-13, Revelation 20:4-6, Matthew 24:9-13).

    ---

The woman in Revelation 12 represents the church. She's clothed with the sun (Revelation 12:1) of righteousness (Malachi 4:2) through her faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:22). The moon under her feet (Revelation 12:1) represents the devil under her feet (Romans 16:20) as she overcomes him by her faith in Jesus Christ (Revelation 12:11). The crown of twelve stars on her head represents the twelve apostles (Matthew 10:2) who have been placed over the church (1 Corinthians 12:28).

Her giving birth to the "man child" and its being caught up to the throne of God immediately before the Antichrist's 3.5-year worldwide reign (Revelation 12:5-6) represents the mid-tribulation setting apart of the 144,000 male-virgins part of the church (Revelation 14:4) from the rest of the church, and then the mid-tribulation catching up of the 144,000 male-virgins part of the church to the throne of God in heaven (Revelation 14:5, KJV).

If Obama is the antichrist, and I will never know if he is, he will be empowered by the devil.

A scripture just came to mind -

Zec 11:16 For, lo, I will raise up a shepherd in the land, [which] shall not visit those that be cut off, neither shall seek the young one, nor heal that that is broken, nor feed that that standeth still: but he shall eat the flesh of the fat, and tear their claws in pieces.

Zec 11:17 Woe to the idol shepherd that leaveth the flock! the sword [shall be] upon his arm, and upon his right eye: his arm shall be clean dried up, and his right eye shall be utterly darkened.

3And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

14And deceiveth them that dwell on the earth by the means of those miracles which he had power to do in the sight of the beast; saying to them that dwell on the earth, that they should make an image to the beast, which had the wound by a sword, and did live.

Could it be that the antichrist will be Jewish/Israeli? After gog is destroyed, Israel (who is still expecting a messiah - an earthly leader like Moses) will be ready to honor the "man" responsible for gog's destruction.

The antichrist calls down fire from heaven to prove he's God and that's exactly what God does to destroy gog.

So, I don't know??? Interesting though.

On second thought, he may be of Jewish origins but he won't honor the God of Israel (Daniel 11) and he makes war with those who follow God's commandments (Rev 12) and believe in Jesus after the church is gone.

There are plenty of secular Jews who do not believe in God in leadership positions. I would not be surprised if the antichrist is of Israeli origin, especially given all the talk about the "synagogue of satan" in Revelation.

    Agreed!

Still, the words of Daniel seem to ring true ...
Daniel 8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.
24 And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people.
25 And through his policy also he shall cause craft to prosper in his hand; and he shall magnify himself in his heart, and by peace shall destroy many: he shall also stand up against the Prince of princes; but he shall be broken without hand
    .
What means "understanding dark sentences", if not twisted deceptions and half-truths, such as Obamacare. By "peace" our Nobel prize winning president has already sent many in this nation to the poor house. Is there doubt about his narcissism? Is there doubt that he minimizes Christianity? Some, perhaps many, believe he is a mere puppet for those behind the NWO.

Perhaps the two items most in question here are: "latter time of the kingdom" and "fierce countenance". It's hard to know about the latter time until afterward though. While in many ways "fierce countenance" seems less than fitting for Obama, he has certainly been tenacious in pursuing his agenda, more so than any other president I've seen.
