Is listening to pop and hip hop music bad?

Can I listen to hip hop artists like Akon, David Guetta or Jay-Z?
What about Taylor Swift or Rihanna?

I know music about sex is really popular right now and most of these musicians that I've listed sing a lot about sex.

But they do have some clean songs, too. Also the radio version of the dirty songs fades out all the cursing.

I don't know. I don't really listen to music much unless it's on the radio or on TV but my friends listen to [secular] music a lot.

Is it bad, though?

I'm just wondering.


Oh regarding the rules..., I'm not asking if their songs are godless or not. Just want to know what people opinions on pop music and hip hop music is...

Yes because both forms of music are usually really awful.

honestly i think its the lyrics that make the song bad..........

I wouldn't reccommend listenting to too much hip-hop or pop music because some of it is just plain BAD
